Hi Folks

I know there's been the ghost in the car park wafting around and the Hampton Court Ghost - I know there have been more, but really not that many. I'm surprised there is not more evidence being produced by CCTV cameras. We're always being told that we live in a Big Brother society and that we're all caught on camera dozens of a times a day - surely more evidence should be forthcoming from this source?

I'm not a skeptic, I've an open mind, but if you consider that 20 years ago CCTV was relatively rare, now it's everywhere - where are the ghosts?

What do you think? My apologies if this has been bought up before.

October 27th 1991 - Butterflies Nightclub, Oldham, Greater Manchester, England

At 04:32hrs the alarm was triggered. Police & keyholders checked it out and found everything secure.
Upon investigation it was discovered that the sensor leading to the cash office had been activated.

The manager checked the CCTV and it had captured a figure in a white shirt walking down the corridor. This is believed to have triggered the alarm.
However, halfway down the corridor, the figure turns and walks through a wall.

No explanation has been found.

The BBC inspected the tape and confirmed it was not two signals imposed on one tape.

The story appeared in the local newspaper but did not appear on TV.

Suspiciously, the tape disappeared shortly after this.

Intersting article Loonboy.

There was a similar one at a castle or palace i think, where a figure of Henry VIII was seen walking out of some double fire exit doors, but apparently it could have been hoaxed sad.gif

we're TOLD we're in a big brother society? We're hit over the head with it! It's 1984 from now on friend. I ask you, do skeptics have closed minds? Skeptical means your're not convinced, you have doubts.

I said in my post, I'm not skeptical. A skeptic is a person with a doubting attitude - I don't have a doubting attitude hence I'm not skeptical. I can, however, ask questions like this one because I'm after answers - like most people are, it doesn't mean I'm doubting the existence of the paranormal. I have never seen a ghost with my own eyes, but I'm sure they exist.

But that's not the point here, the point is that as we are being filmed/watched all the time these days, more evidence surely should be caught on tape than say 20 or 30 years ago?
