I like it! The beginning resembles porn though.

The song's OK, in my opinion. Not one of his best. It is catchy.

I am a Manson fan. Although not a massive fan of the Grotesque album. Meh a little too experimental.
He's a smart bloke though

Hey, I'm probably waaaaaaaaaaay out of the loop and showing my age, but who is this band you have on here, Vidoll? They look like a band that would be right up my alley, but I've never heard of them. Guess I'm gonna have to check 'em out.....

I'm a serious manson fan!
Seriously!
new Manson, Eat Me Drink Me is due out June 5th but I've heard 2 tracks so far.
Heart Shaped Glasses (When the Hand guides the Heart) and If I was your Vampire
Both kick a** in my opinion.
I think GAOG is my favorite but I like pretty much all efforts by Manson.
I really like his cover work too. I dig the message and you can't beat him for showmanship.
seriously

Yeah I like manson too. I like the Antichrist Svperstar album best.. it was a present from a friend when it came out and I just loved it, and I got into it from there. I also like Portrait Of An American Family. And he was pretty cool live too.
And if you's turn over and look at the back of the Holy Wood album you'll see where I chose my sons name from. lol...true huh... I was trying to pick names when I bought the album, and it just stood out. lol it was a sign!

One of the things I love about Manson is the way he like to play on word and phrases
like, We have high places but we have no friends
or
open up your third nostril
Very cool very subtle.
And then there are the things he says like:
"All the goose-step girlies with
Their cursive faces and
We know it's all Braille beneath the skirt"
I'm not sure what it means but it sounds pretty cool!
It's so far beyond the generalized consensus of "Shock Rock", it's so much more. I get lost in the feeling of songs like Speed of Pain and Tourniquet.
Pure Dope, I say!

Goose-step is a military march. I think it has to do with girls just following others and doing what they're told like soldiers. Manson preaches to be yourself. As for the 'braille' I think it means they're just feeling the world blindly and that's why they're following others rather then figure things out on their own.
I like him... I have "This is Halloween" on right now... Boys and girls of every age... Wouldn't you like to see something strange?

unfortunately for him, his talent is overshadowed by his strong desire to stand out. if he had a true message, he wouldnt allow his image to slow him down. it does more against his cause than for.

I view my job as being someone who is supposed to piss people off. I don't want to be just one-of-the-guys. I don't want to be just a smiling face you see on television presenting some vapid kind of easily- digestible garbage. This is rock and roll. I want to be a rock and roll star! Rock and roll is about shaking things up, making people act and react. That's what I do.

His image is part of the message.
Without his 'image' -- that's pretty funny to say actually since he assumes a different role for each album -- he would be just another rock artist vomiting crap upon the listening public.

Knew you were cool, Kratos. LOL.
But I got to disagree about the meaning of that line. On any other Manson album but "Golden Age of the Grotesque', your analysis would be correct. But since GAotG is by far Manson's most libidinous album -- ever seen the video for '(S)aint'? -- I think there is just a plain meaning of...hmmmm how to say this without being edited...let your fingers do the walking?
Of course, knowing Manson's work, we both may be right. LOL.

After the columbine massacre the media was trying to blame the killings on someone so they attempted to pin Manson as being responsible.
I remember this like yesterday!
he was interviewed by an ABC investigator and was asked:
"Manson, if you were to go to speak to the Columbine students, and to its victims, what would you say to them concerning the trajedy of the event?"
Manson responded with:
"I wouldn't say a word, I would let them talk, I want to hear what they have to say."
Powerful statement.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucnA8ElvZQAThanks Cyge. That was a great interview. Oreilly is such a tool and usually he doesn't give his guests a real chance to speak so i think Manson handled it well.
I thought his remark about Richard Simmons and Liberace was pretty funny too.
