This may have been posted here before, but of all of the ghost videos I have seen on Youtube, this is one of the most compelling.

I posted on the previous thread too. But I have since watched it again several times and listened to it through some of my son's sound system stuff (sorry, I don't know what it's called, he uses it for his band) and if you watch it again and listen, at about 18 through 24 seconds, you will hear the sound of a motorcycle. A dirt bike to be exact. The motorcycle noises actually go on through the entire video. I used my son's program to remove the people's voices so I could hear it.
You can clearly see the headlight from a motorcycle a couple of times in the video.

HMMM interesting - i really thourght we had something here hmm.gif

I would almost believe the video if the ghost didn't look like it was wearing a white sheet. That makes it look too obvious like its something that someone wants to make sure is visible.Although I'm not douting that it could be a ghost.

I've seen the glint of light a couple of times , but what is more compelling are the grayish figures on the left and that you can make out moving towards the right - soldiers marching over and over again? Even the man taping doesn't seem to see them until pointed out. hard to say. a better video camera would be nice - one with better zoom.

I could be wrong of course, but I think what you are seeing(and what I saw) as a greyish figure marching is actually the headlights off of the motorcycles reflecting on the trees or bushes in that area.

This makes a good lesson. When I first watched sometime ago I was really impressed with it. As I watched again I could a pattern to some of the movement. Now that a dirt bike or motorcycle has been introduced, that explains it.

ola..it was a recent post ....the good news is I still have the still photos from the last one....b

I'm not convinced a motorcycle explains movement on the left and right sides of the screen. a motorcycle may have caused the glint that is seen a couple of times .

there seems to be objects lighter in color than the trees all seeming to move left to right . if they are motorcycles / cars where are their lights ? it is quite dark and most car headlights now are on automatically.

could it be cars ? possible. motorcycles ? I had read only one could be heard going by. so a motorcycle wouldn't explain all of it. if it is traffic wouldn't that be audible as well? is there a road behind those trees? and if there is the traffic is very evenly paced and have no lights.

I was wondering if it was dirt bikes going up into the trees and coming down. yet anyone who knows motorcycles ( I miss mine ) knows dirt bikes make alot of noise. they would be extremely audible , the sound bouncing all over the place. 4 wheelers ? same thing.

I don't know if they allow dirtbike riding on the Gettysburg grounds.

a ghost ? don't know. but I know it's not motorcycles.

I don't buy the motorcycle thing either. There is definitely movement which resembles humans walking. I am not saying there is definitely something supernatural going on here, but that movement does not resemble light moving through trees. Also, I saw nothing that looked like a white sheet.
lufia
i wished the black forest wasn't there, it killed the credibility of it being a real ghost for me.
Regency
I don't see anything resembling a white sheet either. I've watched this before and thought it was fascinating. BUT after introducing the motorcycle theory, I think you have it there, I think they are motorcycles too.

Ola!
look what I found....B

Those don't look like motorcycles, I don't know what they are! The second one looks like an octopus. Hey, since I can't start a new thread (or even reply or quote people) from my home computer as Explorer shuts down, (Yes, for some reason I can only post new topics and quote from work with another browser with UM,) why doesn't someone post a new thread (or continue posting here) with links to what YOU think are the best, most credible and unbelievable pics/ videos you have seen.

The first word on the vid is "dirtbike"
Then there is the infamous "It can't be the motorcycles honey!"
And then the kid saying, "But they're not down there no more."
All of which shows me that there were motorcycles or dirtbikes down there at some point.
I wish I could figure out how to post the audio without their voices so you could hear the motors changing gears.
Anyway, the quality of the video is not great and the movement is consistent with lights going around a track over and over at a distance, reflected in the trees.
Don't you think?
I really wanted to believe this one too and I did for a little while, but the evidence just points me in another direction now. Alas! when will I get the proof I need. hmm.gif
