My Dad passed away on Wednesday. Wake is tonight and funeral tomorrow. It will be a rather emotionally draining week-end for me.

I know how it is to lose a parent but both mine are still alive. when I was about 10 my dad had a stomach ulcer and I woke up hearing screams and saw him throwing up blood. I watched him die but they brought him back to life. for the hour that they had him after i watched him die to until they told us he would be ok was the worst experience of my life. also my friend that lives with me, his mom had a heart attack today. i will send thoughts your way and ask that you do the same for my friends mother (all though you dont have to) Im truly sorry and all I can tell you is keep your head up you will get through this

it is usually very difficult to handle 'once in a life time' experiences.

when my grandma died (she was my most beloved in family) i tried not to cry because i know she would see me.
just like grandma, my experience after her death was also irreplaceable.
