Warning - this play contains meat

A playwright has been told to warn audiences his show features a roast chicken - to avoid offending vegetarians.

Doug Devaney, 41, is starring in one-man play Mein Gutt, a black comedy about one man's losing battle with obesity.

But Brighton Fringe Festival organisers say the roast chicken in the play could cause offence, reports the Sun.

Oh god... I'm vegetarian and I don't care if someone eats meat. Hell On christmas there's turkey infront of me and nutroast on my plate, the only thing that'd bother me are the lame jokes in the crackers . If a vegetarian or vegan complains about someone eating meat they deserve to be thrown out and banned, it's like a christian going into a mosque and preaching or a muslim going into a church and preaching ectect.

Man... I hate Pc'ness. It's idiotic to the max.
