Hey all,
My hubby and I about a year and half ago watched a program that different paranormal topics and in 1 segment they spoke about a town that the roads had been rebuilt from bricks of a torn down old prison. Now the whole town experiences things of the paranormal. There were a lot of bad things that happened in the prison, if I remember correctly.
Does anyone remember the name of this town? I think it was somewhere in the northern half of the USA. Does anyone remember the name of that program? I'd like to find it and record it again.
Thanks and take care!

Hi, I live on the East Coast and I dont recall that story. However the shows that dedicate to the Paranormal here in the US is the Travel Channel and Discovery Channel. They have message boards so perhaps you could ask. I think it was in Pennsyvania but dont hold me to that. I checked google and other sites but I cannot locate the information, sorry

or the History Channel. I remember that story I just can't remember any details. Sorry! I'll look for it though.

That sounds like an awesome place to visit and do a story on. Have never heard of this before. Hope someone can come up with something.

I don't know where it is unfortunately, but the whole subject does bring up a theory of mine. I'm sure it's been thought up of before, but here goes anyway

Do minerals or natural objects, such as stone etc work as a sort of sponge, absorbing residual energy, therefore making it ripe for paranormal activity?

I have caught a lot of evps, and I believe that it was recorded in the walls, floors, etc of the houses at the time when the person was there 100 years ago and was talking at that time. Meaning a good majority of the messages seem to be residue and talking about past events that I have been able to research and find that it really did happen. So that's what got my curiosity up about this town. Because it would totally affirm my belief. If a floor could hold a voice from someone that lived there 100 years ago, why then not be able to hold the energy of the emotional outbursts from people too.
