Hitman. 3/10.
Since it was Luc Besson directing it, I hoped it would be good, but no. it's just a stale, stale effort at trying to make a film similar to Léon, but with a leggy russian chick in it.
Awful.

I have seen ads for this one is it a true story?
yeah its Based on a true story of Christopher McCandless, a dumba**, who hitchhiked
to Alaska to live in the wilderness without a area map, where he met his untimely fate.
i vote him #1 for a Darwin award

It actualy an extremely well made British film with great performances and an excellent (and freaky) storyline.
Give it a go!
Yes mate brilliant film

No Country for Old Men. 9.5 out of 10. Very good!
Pirates 3. 5 out of 10. I really liked the other two but i really hated this one. Confused the hell out of me. Like that one part where the girl is tied up to the mast, then she becomes a giant, spouts a bunch of gibberish, then turns into a million crabs. WTF was that?!

The last movie I watched although not a new release is far out none the less.
1: The Big Lebowski 10/10
This movie was non stop entertainment all the way from beginning to end. John Goodman's character Walter Sobchak the crazy Nam vet was the funniest character in the movie.
American Gangster, 9/10. Russell Crowe should get an Oscar for this (he just gained a new fan), and Cuba Gooding, Jr. should get nominated at least. Unfortunately for Denzel, his character doesn't have enough arch. Most of the juicy scenes went to Russell; it's really his film.

Ghost Rider- 8/10 The justice he gives out is cool.
Another cheesy video game with an ever-so-important leading man in another "acting" adventure.

Pfeiffer is a camp. Ms. Danes is always wonderful. De Niro tries to be cute, but tired and gross. Charlie Cox's career in filmdom "ain't gonna go nowhere."

I love the Coen Brothers and this film, stylistically took from my two favorite Coen Brother's movies "Barton Fink" and "Miller's Crossing". I always feel awkward though when i'm the only person laughing in the audience. Perhaps I should seek therapy.
It's a real shame that the only movies they're known for are Fargo and The Big Lewbowski.

Just came back from seeing the Golden Compass. We all loved it, but having read the book we were a bit disappointed they'd left the ending off - which would be alright if the Subtle Knife movie were a certainty. Anyway, I'm gonna give it a 9/10. I think I gave Transformers a 9.5/10 earlier in the year, and this (for me) is second to that movie in 07.

I Am Legend. It sucked, big time. The trailer looked good, that's because they showed (quite literally) all the good bits. I found the movie, slow, dull, uninteresting and boring. I'll give it 4/10 simply cos the dog was cool and Will Smith actually had a few moments of actual acting abillity (especially where the dog was concerned).

I am Legend could have been so good but no, the director simply had to mess it up. By the way, it is so much like 28 days later, only a lot better. 3/4th of the movie was good if you ignore that the lone person to have immunity amongst billions of people had to be a super scientist; how convenient! It was nice until the Brazilian woman and kid walked into the movie. From then on, it was plain dumb! The cold reaction of the woman when Will Smith wakes up is so idiotic; the guy just woke up from near death, and sees people for the first time ever in 3 years, and this woman's so cold and says "do you want breakfast?" Geez! And then she says god told me to blah blah blah... you just have to listen blah blah blah. This is when the movie went dead! Also, I will never understand why Will Smith had to die; why couldn't he have thrown the grenade at the zombies and escaped with that woman???? How could he ever trust the cure crucial to human survival to that lame woman? How? How? How?
Anyway, 5/10

First of all his name is Galactus and they never got him right at all... A giant cloud of wtf like seriously... I was disappointed by this movie for numerous reasons, call me a fanboy or whatever but it's not at all impossible to use the look of the comic characters in movies and still make them good. Plus they never showed the Silver Surfers origins either which super pissed me off.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
10/10
I absolutely loved it! It is certainly going to go down as a Tim Burton classic, for sure! It was gorey and gruesome (like a slasher film), whimsical and almost merry (like a musical), and gothic with a sense of wonder (like any Tim Burton movie). Johnny and Helena were very good singers and make a ghoulish couple. It even had a few plot twists! This film is definitely worth going to the theater for!
AVP: Requiem
5/10
I was dissapointed when I saw this film. There was no true story (it jumped all over the place), had to do more about the people then the actual creatures, and you only caught a few glimpses of the Predalien (Or even the aliens in general!). The first movie was a lot better. This is a movie that you should only rent!

The last movie I watched was Shooter. It wasn't the first time I had seen it but I really like it and it both looks and sounds very nice.
I'd rate it 9/10 because it is awesome, but it'd be hard to watch very often.
Otherwise, I have been watching Heroes Season One and Penn & Teller: BS on DVD. They are both very good shows. Those have been my addiction for the time being.
