I just saw it today and it was awesome! It's a cross between 'Apocolypto" & 'Stargate' and I would recommend it to any fast action, thrill seeking fan!

I just saw 3 movies: Fracture, starring Anthony Hopkins, and I rate it a 10, Transformers, which I've seen numerous times before, and I still rate it a 10, and then? Live Free Or Die Hard, a definate 10. Now tonight I'm going to watch 23, starring Jim Carrey. They say it's good and when I saw the previews of it I thought that it looked good.

Okay, "23" was incredibly boring. I also attempted to view "There Will Be Blood" but couldn't get into it. I bought Mr. Brooks, starring Kevin Costner and Demi Moore and couldn't even get to the middle of it. The final movie will be "Gone, Baby Gone" with Ed Harris. I haven't seen it yet. They SAY it's suppose to be good, but! They've also said that with "23" and "There Will Be Blood". Whether or not movies are good remains to be a matter of taste.

sequel ? hhmmm.
I like movies that deviate from crash and burn every 5 minutes ( intended to keep your attention) or over the top gore that after awhile gets just boring. I miss a good psychological horror. where your not just disgusted , but truly scared. those are rare .
I don't know if a sequel would do that , not that I was scared watching Mist , but it was different and the ending was tasty indeed.

Hell yeah, dude. I can't believe how much hate this movie is getting from so-called "true" Indy fans. It's not like the other films as a whole, because it's not meant to be. Different time period brings different themes. Some people actually were dissapointed with the fact they used CGI. It's not like it was overly used. This is not the 1980's....they are going to use modern technology to create their movie, just like everyone does. I don't think people realized that CGI didn't exist back when the others were made.
I'm going to see it again tomorrow with my dad. Can't wait.

Iron Giant is excellent... produced by Mr Peter Townshend, too

Last movie was Juno. For the second time. I rate it... 8/10, I guess. It's good. Juno is me and my friend combined as one hormonal preggo teen, we decided when we went to go and see it. I liked most of the soundtrack, plus it totally had one of my fave Kinks songs

A bad reason to like the movie so much, but... meh.

Franny--despite the gore, I love it, too. Johnny Depp was amazing. The music is haunting. I just can't get enough of the darn thing (even though I have to close my eyes during some of the gory scenes).
I also liked the Depp/Burton collaboration on Sleepy Hollow. It's actually a beautifully filmed movie--the atmosphere and photography were outstanding.

The Italian Job (2003) -6.5/10 Near the beginning I felt things were not adding up. (a-Bubbles from the scuba gear were not visible. b- Bodies that were not recovered from the bridge, except the old man.) otherwise it was ok/good.
Ali (2001) -8/10 Will Smith must of worked out at a gym cause he looked ripped for this role, but he just didn't sound like the champ. A great story tho, and I didn't know until now how he got his name from Clay to X to Ali.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix -7/10 It was good but definitely a build up for the next movie.
The Pink Panther (2006) -4/10 Steve Martin with a french accent didn't do it for me. It remains questionable wether it should of been remade at all. Peter Sellers will always be remembered for this role.

Ant Bully -kids watched it more than once.
Brave Little Toaster -kids wanted to buy me to buy it.

Indy 4 = C
I just didn't like it a whole lot, what can I say? I don't know what being a "true" Indy fan has to do with anything. I grew up liking the movies and I was hoping for a better sequel after 19 years. That's all. I'd still go see a 5th, though.
The Strangers = C
Some decent scares, I guess....but mostly mindless entertainment. Not much blood, it's more psychological than that. Still, it had the audience cracking up and how dumb it was, haha. It made 20 million over the weekend though, so look for a sequel next year.

Lars and the Real Girl - 10/10
In this comedy, Lars Lindstrom is an awkwardly shy young man in a small northern town who finally brings home the girl of his dreams to his brother and sister-in-law's home. The only problem is that she's not real - she's a sex doll Lars ordered off the Internet. But sex is not what Lars has in mind, but rather a deep, meaningful relationship.
