A LITTLE gory? Haha, that's probably the most violent action movie ever made. Loved it.
I saw You Don't Mess With the Zohan on Tuesday. Started out pretty weak, but after the first 20 minutes or so, it got hilarious. 8/10

Incredible hulk 5/10 no chemistry what so ever between the Tyler and Norton pathetic it was like watching ten year olds trying to like eachother in a play or something. Only one shower scene with Mr Norton lose points there too. Stupid villian too. and the end was that reference to allstar movie coming with wonderwoman captain america and all those weird people?
Indiana Jones 2/10 stupid plot stupid Ford = stupid ford if was based on his son may have been better
The orphanage. 7/10 full of cliches but still made me jump
The happening 6/10 not the best shyamalan (best 6th sense) and not the worst (The Village) but still had something missing. ANd the trailer with whalberg looking around for like 2 minutes put me off. I agree with many others shyamalan has lost his touch

Indiana Jones 4 - 6.5/10. Add an extra star if you haven't seen the other three films. As an Indy fan, it was a tad disappointing. I don't think there was a great deal of chemistry between the actors, the dialogue was generally a lot duller than the expectations from Indiana Jones. However, as an action flick, it was quite good. Some good action sequences, and good special effects.
Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - 9/10. Brilliant movie, all round. I think i remember making a write-up of the first of the films on this thread (or at the least, somewhere on this forum) and came to the conclusion of "the Film: 8/10, potential for sequels: 10/10". After seeing this, I'm glad to have not been disappointed by that previous comment. The actors are a little older, and they have worked really well as a team. Some of the animals are absolutely fantastic - Mouse Swordsmen: Any last words? Peter: You're a mouse?!? Mouse swordsman: I was hoping for something a little more creative! However, most of the Telmarine Lords (the bad guys) were cast in very similar moulds (dark clothes, middle-aged, goatees, slightly unshaven). As such, there was no clear, distinctive "bad guy" such as the White Witch from the first film, though you could argue that the Telmarine Lords Council was in itself a Dark Entity. But I digress. A great film, all round. Voyage of the Dawn Treader is currently in pre-production and it's been said they will continue to make all seven movies as long as people keep watching the movies. If they keep the current high standards, it should be good.

Believe it or not the last movie I saw was Cloverfield. Yeah it was very bad indeed many said it was a horrible movie I really should have took that into consideration. It was just bad with the whole camcorder thing and the ending was totally a rip off.
If you have not watched it let me say don't, it will be 2hours of your life wasted.

El Orfanato (The Orphanage)--8/10. Pretty darn good!
Cloverfield--9/10. Oh, yeah! Really, really liked it, and it didn't villify the military.
The Mist--8/10. Well done but *spoiler!*
ultimately, a downer
I Am Legend--9/10. Great sci-fi movie!
(A Western, but...)
3:10 to Yuma--10/10. I'm a Western fan anyway and this really delivered the goods!

I rented In Bruges a couple days ago. Brilliant movie. The characters are fantastic and play off of each other very well. There are a lot of hilarious moments that keep the movie going, and the story is well played out. The ending is sort of sad and twisted, but it all works out. 9/10

Hancock 1/10 Pathetic bulldoody first like 20mins looked promising but I didn't laugh once. It was stupid and long winded and the twist was pathetic. It would have been a better movie if he ran around half drunk catching random crooks. I sat in a cinema with a lot of teenagers (lol my mum was the oldest one there) I sat in the back row. No one was interested in the movie all i could see was a sea of mobile phone glow as messaging your friends was more fun then this crap. I want my money back. If smith pulls another one of these he will be going the way of Cruise.
The only good thing about this crap was when the credits rolled. And the one point goes to the credits for putting me out of my misery.

I loved this movie better than the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe one. This was more mature, there were more cool fighting scenes, more cool mythical creatures, a very cool Sergio Castelitto playing Miraz, awesome CGI effects, and i enjoyed alot Skandar (Edmund) in this one.
The only flaw was the totally irrelevant romantic thing between Susan and Caspian, i think the movie would have been better without it.

WALL-E 8/10
My wife and I thought it was a good movie, although, it felt like two seperate films; one on the earth and one from space. They put a lot of detail into the earth scenes, especially WALL-E, but the humans were a bit rushed. It felt like a combination of a Star Wars sci-fi and a Curious George movie.
Our kids loved it and I'm sure we will see it another dozen times, at least!

I just came back from seeing The Hulk. It wasn't my first choice when we showed up at the theater but the boy HAD to see it, apparently. It was ok. Probably how it should be done. No real story, just opportunites for buddy to get mad and turn into the hulk. Enter bad-guy..and so on. Pretty decent, though.

THE DARK NIGHT 9/10
AWESOME!!!
Loved the Joker hilarious. Lost a point for the casting of Maggie Gyllenhaal a bit too tootsy and whiny
Although the movie could have focused more on the Joker but the story Lines inter connect nicely and the ending leaves it ajar not open but ajar for a third. although from what I have been told Nolan and Bale are up for third. And rumor is the Riddler (taking the place of the joker?) and Catwoman may be in it. But we may have to wait a long time for that as Bale is hooked up with 3 terminator movies, Metal Gear Solid, another Movie with Depp (which I cant remember the name of) and I think another action movie somewhere in there. But yeah who cares we can wait for BALE no man can take that mans place. yay

Well, that's generous of you to give it a six. I mean: What are they saying? The honeymoon is over, romance is practically gone, time for a divorce, but stay for the kids? A romance between a nancy boy and princess (girl) is deadly?

Sunshine from the director of 28 Days -Danny Boyle
Wow it has been a while, I have to say it was Sunshine, and I have friends that would give it a low rating and some a medium rating, but as I am a huge fan un Space Sci Fi, and the closer to scientifically correct as possible as in Stanley Kubrick’s making of 2001 being the heist possible score so far, that being because in space there are no whooshing of space craft as in is a vacum void of space and thus void of noises/sounds for the most part and the back ground star fields do not move about and around in a speading manner, the late great Author C. Clarke was a Guineas, so the next is Sunshine, Event Horizon was cool, and Alien, Red Planet and Star Treck and Star Wars Epics… I am still looking find others, Space Sci-fi Movies have come a long way sense Silent Running Staring Bruce Dern, and the Buck Rogers of our Fathers Era… so in all that said I give Sunshine a 9/10 -->
