Ok, since this is a gaming area, who has DS and what's your favourite games?

I gave into the Harvest Moon rampage, have to say, it's either very difficult to figure out the ways of the game or... it's boring unsure.gif Haven't quite figured out which one yet laugh.gif

I won a DS a little while ago and was really taken by it. It's probably the most fun i've ever had out of a handheld, because the gaming is so innovative and new, and doesn't rely per se on the old push button make move gimicks. Using only the touch screen in some games is terrific.

Unfortunately, I find it severly lacking in good games to play. sad.gif

I have at the moment Animal Crossing Wild World, which is basically a touch-screen rehash of the GC version, with some extras. It's fun, but gets old quick.
The New Super Mario Bros. This game is AWESOME if you're a fan of Super Mario 1 and 3. It basically takes all the best elements of both of those games and combines them together with Mario64 graphics and moves, and gives you a long list of new levels to play through. Love it.
Mario64. A remake of the same game for the Nintendo 64, with all new characters and secrets and updated graphics etc, extremely fun.
Resident Evil DS, a remake of the very original RE game from the PS1, with some updated graphics and a bunch of nifty new things that take advantage of the touch screen.

I also want to pick up Mario Kart DS, naturally. I gave FF3 a go, but got bored of it relatively quickly. There's only so much oldschool FF I can play.

Coming out soon are two new games i'm extremely excited for: Touch the Dead, a zombie-shooter on rails similar to Segas House of the Dead, and a direct sequel to Windwaker, which looks like an excellent cross between Zelda: link to the Past and Zelda Windwaker, a great combination.

Mario Kart DS is really fun, especially over Wi Fi, or with friends.

I also have tomb raider legend, I'm not a TR fan and so find it difficult to get into sad.gif

In no particular order:
1. Mario Kart DS-Looks and plays just as good as its console counterparts and the WiFi makes it a must have.
2. Metroid Prime: Hunters-The story mode was repetitive if anyone remembers The Library level from Halo it feels exactly like that...but I still liked it. WiFi is good fun.
3. Pokemon Diamond and Pearl-Its Pokemon and its WiFi. Nuff Said.
4. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow-
5. Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
6. New Super Mario Bros.-Arguably the best 2D Mario platformer ever...thats saying something/
7. Super Mario 64 DS-A port of a timeless classic with a few changes, upgrades, and new things to do. Not to mention its like the only 3D platformer on the DS.
8. Star Fox: Command-Not as good as Starfox 64 by a long shot but its still Starfox...multiplayer Starfox. And just like Mario 64 its the only game of its type.
9. Tetris DS-Tetris at its finest. Has a few new play types and it has Wifi.
10. Trauma Center: Under the Knife-You get to play doctor with your stylus...everyone wants to play doctor. It is a bit challenging though.
11. Advanced Wars: Dual Strike-Turn based, grid based strategy RPG. No Wifi but I got this game when it first came out
and still play it.
12. Animal Crossing: Wild World-A game that doesn't appeal to everyone and is in a class all of its own.
13. Final Fantasy III: Old school RPG and until now was the only Final Fantasy game that never reached the U.S.
14. Resident Evil: Deadly Silence: A port of Resident Evil 1 with a few upgrades and new modes.
15. Sonic Rush: Old school 2D Sonic at its best.

Games that are good but don't appeal to me:
1. Nintendogs
2. Brain Age
3. Elite Beat Agents

Games I have but aren't great but okay:
1. Mario Hoops: 3 on 3-I can't get use to the touch screen controls and the button controls are limiting. Other then that its what you would expect from a Mario Sports title. Bought this game because I wanted to play basketball on the go.
2. Lost in Blue 2-Survival game. Bought this game because I watch Lost too much. It takes a bit to get use to and even then you spend most of your time making sure the characters don't die...so exploring the island comes secondary which is sad.

Games I want but don't have:
1. Phoenix Wright
2. Hotel Dusk

Currently playing animal crossing on my DS lite - loving it! Next buy is either Yoshi's Island or Mario Bros.

Metroid Prime: Hunters and the Castlevania series so far are my favourite although my collection is quite limited.
I'm trying to hunt down some of the older games that I missed, especially Phoniex Wright and the New Super Mario.
One question to New Super Mario owners, how is the touch screen integrated in the gameplay?

Touch screen doesn't do much of anything. In this game you can carry a spare item(mushroom, flower, etc.) and when you touch its icon on the bottom screen its drops onto the screen. When your on the world map you can touch the screen to teleport to different areas. Thats it...everything else is D-pad and A and B.

There are a collection of minigames that all use the touch screen though...if you ever played Super Mario 64 DS its all those same ones.

I don't have a Nintendo DS, although i've watched my friend play one several times. It's looks pretty good. It's neat how it has a double screen. I've played Need for Speed Carbon on it, probably my favourite so far. original.gif

I was looking for a decent puzzle game to add to my collection and was wondering which was better Meteos or Pokemon Link, or are they basically the same game.
