Hello I dont have any but I believe there are many many pictures of ghosts online..........that are frauds. I was wondering if anyone on here has any original pictures of genuine ghosts? I have never seen anything to prove to me that ghosts are real so...do your best

Huegenot Cemetary, St. Augustine, FL.

There was no one in the cemetary when I took the picture.

The problem with a question like this is, one man's ghost is another man's dust. Any pictures you find with a clear image of a ghost are going to be called fake. Any pictures of unclear images of light anomalies, orbs or unexplained shadows can be explained away. The only one who is going to be positive that a picture is a ghost is the person who took the picture.
frodonet
that looks more like a demon than a ghost.

you caught a demon answering the nature's call!
rhyknow
Exactly, you can neither prove nor disprove whether a ghost pic is genuine or fake.

the only person who can is the one who took the photo. they know what was there and what wasn't.
rhyknow
I disagree. there's always a natural factor that comes into it too.

Let's take orb pics for example. People who take those pics get so worked up that it's a "genuine orb etc" but most of the time it's just dust particles that can't be seen by the naked eye.
Jules22871
This is one of those damned if you do and damned if you don't kind of things. No matter if the picture is clear or fuzzy someone is going to say it is a fake and someone is going to swear it is real. It is all in the mindset of the person viewing it. I really don't think there is any way to confirm a picture as a true ghost picture. Most are pretty easy to disprove but you cannot prove a real one without a doubt.
hemet nesw weret
I have to agree with all of the above posters. The difficulty in proving ghost pictures does make the whole area rather subjective.
Professional investigators tend to use SLRs (35mm ) AND digital cameras because of this.
Each type of camera has advantges and drawbacks; with digital the lack of film negs means that the images have to stand alone as proof, but how do you then tell if photoshop has been used or not? But digi cams can capture infra-red images. So they can pick up stuff not visible to the naked eye.(try taking a digi pic of your tv remote while pressing a button on the remote. The pic will show the light coming from it. thumbsup.gif but you don't see that light with the naked eye.)
Film has it's problems too, but at least if you get a good shot of 'something' you can have the neg checked. this can prove that that film hasn't been tampered with.
Personaly I think if you want to take ghost pics then digi and film both have to be used, if something shows up on both that's pretty convincing IMO. yes.gif

Who has the clearest photo?
I do!
The Clearest Ghost Photo EVER!
primordial
With all my ghost hunting and all the many, many photos, this is the best clearest picture that I have. In the circled area is an bench that I had picked up, and leaned it against the tree. I was trying to take a picture of the inside of the Church but the resulting picture was a reflection. To me, it appears that someone might be sitting there.

I like that pic, I hate to bother you but could you post it again without the circle. When I try to do close-ups or enhancements to the pic, the circle gets in my way. Thanks!

99% of orbs can be dismissed as dust or moisture (particularly if taken with a digital camera. Sorry if that offends anyone but it's the truth.

As for pics of things closer to partial or full body apparitions, many can be just matrixing. Others can be reflections or tricks of light. And unfortunately some are just plain fakes (like double exposure pics).

But as to the small fraction that aren't dust, reflections or tricks a lot comes down to a) repeatability - is this the only photo or over time can multiple photos of the same apparition be taken?, and, cool.gif credibility of the photographer.

I've got a pic my wife took that shows the neck and head of a woman in our kitchen.
She appears to be from the 20s or 30s, has her hair pulled back and is wearing wire frame glasses.
Will I post it? No.
I would post it but I know it's authentic so feedback would be moot, and probably upset me after a few people would tell me it was a hoax or photoshop job. I have other photos that show white vortex looking phenomena as well, and even have one pic that was taken in a pub in Amsterdam that shows myself with a chick I met standing with our arms around each other. On the upper part of the photo you can see someone's arm holding a mug of ale or something. Thing is, there were only three people in the bar at the time, myself, the chick that was with me, and the person who took the photo.

I've got photo's of underground Edinburgh Scotland in an area called Mary Kings Close, that appears to show a young girl sitting by an old fireplace. The tour guide explained that a young girl had died there during the last plague years ago.

I've got photo's of the time I spent the night in the most haunted cemetery in Scotland, Grey friars, which have many unusual aspects to them such as ecto and such, and in two photos I took of a statue of a man standing in front of a tomb, one photo shows the statue looking straight ahead, while in the next one his head is slightly bent down and looking at me.

Sorry though, no posting them for me. I've been ghost hunting all over the globe and been doing it for over thirty years.
They've already been analyzed. peace original.gif

Thozz, don't be a chicken, show them to us.
It's easy to describe a pic and tell us what you think it is.
Let us see it and tell you what we think.
Believe me, there are more believers here than skeptics. Why the shyness?
Seriously, I would love to see the pics.
I promise that I will treat your pictures with the utmost respect. as should everyone here.

And there is the problem, too many won't respect them. I can see Thozzy's point on this one even though I would love to see his pictures.

Very interesting photos! Sure makes you wonder. The third one is definately proof of something. The fact that the lady "ghost" appeared
next to the angel adds such a serine and peaceful feeling to the picture.Beautiful picture.
The first and second pictures are just downright puzzling. Thanks for sharing.

The third pic down, and the last three photo's show her. The face neck and upper shoulders that you see (or not), are in the kitchen, directly to the right of our cooking stove.
I may get into my photo drawers and dig some more freaky photo's out later. Haven't been to bed yet...and I'm yawning my self to sleep here.

On 2nd viewing that photo is more interesting than it first appears. Do you need to register at Imageshack to be able to see it.
Id like to see a larger version. When i first saw it i thought it was just a light reflection.....but it does appear to be more interesting than that.

The second photo looks like a camera strap. The third I think is just matrixing.

If you hosted the pictures on a hosting site like imageshack or photobucket, just delete their links. If you uploaded them to UM, go under your controls and under manage your attachments and delete them yourself. thumbsup.gif

I have to say thank you to Thozzy for sending me those pics. I really enjoyed those a lot. I played with them on my photo program quite a bit and I cannot see any reasonable explaination for them. They are definitly not matrixing as the image and the background are 2 totally different colors and textures, not like with trees and clouds. The pixilation in the pictures all blend well. There are no obvious corners or edges to the image like in many photoshopped images. I am in awe of these pics. They are in the few that have really stumped me and make me say "wow, that looks real"

To Missbeliever: Don't delete your pics. Forget what has been said that bothers you. You know in your heart if they are real or not. It shouldn't matter what others say. No matter what happens in life you are always going to run into people that cry fowl. Leave them be and go on your way. Make yourself happy. If you feel that they are real then go with that feeling and forget all the other crap. Take the good and leave the bad.

Hugs at everyone!!!

I didn't want them deleted because of opinions anyone made about them.I like all opinions whether honest, silly,or whatever.I just thought maybe it might be a bad idea having my families pictures posted on the internet.I cannot delete them at the place I uploaded them to because I didn't create an account first. In their faqs it says if they get no hits after 3 months they may be deleted but thats all.

You should be able to have them deleted if you can't do it thru "my files" thru the hosting site. If you use the report button on the post where the pic is one of the mods can delete the link for you, I'm sure or you can use the 'report abuse' function thru your hosting site as a last resort. Good luck!

You're entirely welcome Jules.
The photo's, as you suspect, are 100% genuine.
I would swear this on my lady love's grave. I'm not here to play the "lets see who I can fool" game.

I'm far too serious about this. I heard conversations between a man and a woman coming from the area where the lady is for a few years, but haven't heard it for some time now. I also used to hear a growl or snarl coming from the same area.
One night (not too long ago), I asked it to knock twice if it was present, and instantly heard two loud knocks come from under the table.
Maybe people would be skeptical because it didn't scare me but after spending 30+ years witnessing similar phenomena, and 4 years in the USMC, not to mention a home life growing up where I had to hide weapons, pills, and let the air out of my parents car tires to keep them from killing each other, I really don't scare.

Also, making it a point NEVER to lie or deceive people, and then being told that a pic is a photoshop job, or matrixing (been a freelance published photographer for 16 years now), irritates the hell out of me.
I know what these photos are, how, and with what equipment they were taken with, under what conditions. Anyone that instantly proclaims them as fakes or photoshop jobs has serious issues.
I wasn't born believing in ghosts, it was acquired through experience.

I just feel that if a person is willing to go out on a limb to discredit my claims, they don't deserve to see them.
I'll send you a couple more (less convincing but authentic) pics soon. Have a great day! original.gif

Because I know they're authentic. I detest liars and hoaxers (unless it's done for fun and known by all beforehand) and feel upset when someone implies that I'm one.
I live by a strong set of values and morals, and NEVER lie, cheat, steal or mislead or deceive anyone. (OMG!)
After posting photo's, if I get a strong negative feeling, I remove them. There are too many demons possessing too many people who are completely unaware of it, that like to play games and make you look like a liar or just plain foolish.

I don't play with evil unless I'm certain of winning, which is damn hard to do sometimes. And when you're dealing with the paranormal you're playing in their back yard. original.gif Have a great day!

I saw the photo to what you are referring to and that is a very clear photo of an apparition. There is no mistaking it. Do you know anything about the previous owners of the house.

The way it is looking at the woman and the baby, it is either watching over the baby, or just likes your family. The spirit seems friendly enough.

We keep getting smell of cigars in our flat, and nobody smokes cigars. We have had a lot of interesting things happen in our flat, but I wouldn't mind getting a photo of an apparition. I have seen two, but didn't photograph them, as I was in bed. I have had a clear audio of a man shouting down my ear. Unfortunately, I was unable to record or capture any of them.

I have got other photos, but nothing as, good as what you have captured.

I have just gotten to the stage that I ignore people's unkind remarks. I carefully scrutinize my own photos to make sure that there couldn't be another explanation to appease the sceptics, before I post them.

I took this pic like a year ago, i was walking by this road beside this cliffs and i thought the view was really beautiful and tooka pic of it, nearby there is a neolithic temple. Anyway, in there i can see a face and a trail of energy below it. I marked them with a red square. one can notice also this orange fog. I didn't take a pic from a window, neither it was a sunny day as one can see, so its not a reflection i guess...

If not for the circumstances surrounding this photo, I would have dismissed it as natural occurance. Although I can't say that this is a ghost, I think it is rather curious. The circumstances under which I took this photo are described on the page.

No unfortunately. I was walking down the road, i took the pic in that very spot, there were no magazines, windows, pictures, houses whatsoever. just me and my camera and the nice view. I'm not here to post fake wannabe ghost photos. I can take in consideration a lens reflection of the camera, but surely there was no pictures around. Also i pointed out the trail of energy in the bottom of the pic, how can anyone explain that?

and i dont really think that face resembles that much Kain, the eyes are just different...but thats only how i see it rolleyes.gif
