I'm quite interested to know about other people encounters.

As a start, i'll share with you mine.

A few years back, i was studying in a polytechnic. Therefore, i have to wake up early around 5am and leave around 5.30am for my journey. So, my house is terrace house with a long strech road and an alley beside a few houses it.

As i were, i woke up and went to walk on the road, it's 5.30am and it's dark still. And there were 2 dogs down the road and started howling, and seriously it spooked me up. So i decided to take the alley as another way, so when i was walking inside the alley, i was fiddling my bag just to check something when i noticed something at the end of the alley.

So, i stood there for cold 3 seconds pondering what the hell is that, and the next thing you know, i ran like "The Flash" straight to my home. I got scared alright..i suspect it's a ghost sitting at the end of the alley. Trust me, i've stayed in my home for whole my life and at that time, nobody would be there...

I have this memory from when I was a little girl of seeing my dead dog go past my room while I was lying in bed. I jumped up and ran to the hallway where I saw his rear end and tail disappearing around the corner into the living room. I followed him and he wasn't there. I don't know if this actually happened, though.

Here is one of my encounters with the spirit-world.

I once lived in a little house with 4 apartments; there was 2 at the first floor, and 2 at the top floor, back in time, there had been only one family living in the entire house.
In the nearly two years I lived there, there was not many who moved into the apartment next to mine, and the few who did, moved within a month ore two – ALL of them. One even moved within a few days, and even though she didn’t say anything, she seemed real scared and freaked out the two times I saw her.

I soon discovered that I was not alone. First of all I could feel someone watching me, being at my side ore behind me. I often saw a blurry, transparent, human-shaped shadow, it was there, both at day, and more often at night, when I lay in my bed reading ore trying to sleep, and I clearly heard its footsteps on the floor, and the floorboards squeak.
Candles was being blown out, TV and stereo turned on and off, things moved by itself, and whenever I listened to the b-side of Kraftwerks record radioactivity, the “feeling” in my home was getting threatening – I guess it didn’t like the music (it IS a strange track, but I had never had that feeling before when I listened to it.)

I had a cat, and often it sat and stared out in the room, with the fur raised, and hissed at whatever it was, who was living in that house.

A lot of my friends felt strange, weird ore fear for the place, some saw the shadow, and some heard its breathing, ore heard it move around.

My uncle owned the place, and when I moved out, he told me something he hadn’t told me before, because he didn’t wanted to scare me.
A lot of his friends, and other tenants had lived there over the years, and none of them had stayed there as long as I. All those who had rented the apartment, and the one next door, had moved as soon as possible, and all those who he had spoken to about it, told that they had the same experiences as I.

I can’t say it was pleasant ore nice to have a roommate like that, but besides when I played the b-side of radioactivity, I newer felt threatened ore scared. If I wanted it to go away, I just said so, and most times it did.
