your artwork is very interesting. what is it.
my artwork is based loosely on the novel im writing now. its about my visions of the future 14,000 years from now. here's some text i've written to complement my artwork.
In the distant future, females dominate all of human society, their bodies having everything that is needed to raise and feed a child. The male gender has been almost wiped out, their task of impregnating the opposite sex substituted by machines. Genetically engineered to perfection, the females represent the technological advances of a post-human world governed by cyberspace, and populated with the vast network of cold steel, thick wires, and emotionless artificial intelligences.
I call these female creatures ‘Feminoids’, a fusion of biological and mechanical origins. They may seem fragile and weak at first sight, but they are the deadly results of an advanced human civilization driven by artificial evolution. Their beauty, part natural, part artificial, is stunning to behold. They are creatures of envy. Their flawless, fair, almost-white complexions are the result of the lack of exposure to the outside world, which has become frozen by an eternal winter.
The Feminoids live solitary lives in the midst of a vast array of machinery that feeds them, sustains them, and gives them what a biological mate can no longer provide. Nano-bots that run in their bloodstream constantly grow new machinery in their bodies and repair damaged organs.
Feminoids do not have arms or legs. These limbs are no longer necessary in a world where machines aid the post-human beings in almost every way. Only the most useful parts of the female body are preserved in each Feminoid.
They consist of: The head, which houses the brain, which is backed by a super-computer. The female breasts, ever providing the nourishing milk that would feed a child, augmented to increase milk production and storage capacity. And lastly, the womb, which would be seeded by machinery in the form of steel and plastic tubes. Artificial and mechanical ones have replaced other important organs like the heart.
In this future world, males are near extinct. Advances in science have made the artificial production of sperm possible. Females reign supreme in all aspects of post-human society. The black polished steel of towering skyscrapers, and the white skins of their inhabitants are the only two colors in this dark, cold world devoid of much life.
Emotions such as compassion and love are non-existent. There is no fear, no hatred. Death is but a dream, immortality within grasp. The Feminoids are slowly becoming the very machines that they have merged themselves with. Surrounded by machinery, these techno-organic beings do not move much; instead, they remain in the same position for years at a stretch.
Over the course of each biomechanoid’s life, it will be immersed in a virtual reality that is very much unlike the real world. In this enormous, computer-generated world, post-human minds and machine intelligences interact freely with one another. This virtual reality is the only comfort in a world ravaged by the excesses of technology. Food and other sustenance are injected directly into their bodies while they roam this artificial plane of existence.
As the planet is stripped of its resources and polluted by the fumes of this futuristic age, humanity cannot remain on it for long. First, robotic probes are sent to scout the galaxy. Then, slowly, massive Seed-ships housing generations of biomechanoids are built in Earth’s orbit by millions of robots. Each completed vessel is then sent to roam the mysterious ocean of deep space, seeking out new worlds to colonize and populate. On board these vast ships, the beings are silent, frozen in cryo-sleep. They would remain like this for possibly hundreds of years; the only sounds emanating from the ship are the hum of its great engines and the rumble of shifting mechanisms echoing through the metal behemoth.
