Hows this for a rapture thought (NOTE I DO NOT believe in the rapture, it was a cult started in the 1800's) I do not remember the name of the fellow who started it, just google Rapture Cult, and I am sure it will come up.
Since we are not to know the day or the hour of the 'JC's' return (another note, I dont believe in religon either) Whats not to say that when the 'One World Government' is created that they do not rewrite the current calendar. Which would make days that we do not know exist (at least in this point in time). So maybe 'JC' will return on February 32? And if we re-work the calendar, why stop there. Lets work on the clocks too. So my prediction...
Jesus will return on Jinijuary 45th, at 46:67am.
I have to say that I have never seen such creative interpretation of biblical text in my life; really. Ever. How you go from the passage to what you think it means is just too far of a stretch to be taken seriously. Some people make predictions; my prediction is that the predictions will never pass, and I have a 100% accuracy rate. This one is no different.
We somehow draw folks like this here every few months making incredible claims and then dissapearing... If I recall correctly we had one guy that kept making predictions of the same caliber and got people all worked up each time and we finally talked him into never coming back if his guesses didn't happen. He came back anyway, but he stopped making predictions.
On the bright side of the rapture; I am going to find myself a nice new car that has been abandoned. maybe two, I need a pickup truck as well and there are plenty of god loving pickup truck drivers if the bumper stickers are any indication. With the tribulation on its way I had better get a 4x4, although I am not sure why; it just seems like a good precaution. I would hate to get stuck in a mud puddle whilst being chased by demons and such because I doubt AAA would get there in time to help out.
What exactly is the "break" after July 17th? is that like a tribulation break or did you post this via Western Union Message circa 1942?

henridebeer, you do realize that according to the Bible you are quoting (and which I believe is God's message to Man) you are being fooled since the Bible, in several places says no one knows when these things will happen:

Im still wondering where in the bible it says that 'JC' comes back three times. If there is a 'rapture' then he would have to come 3 times. (well 2 more, in addition to the one we already have) Anything I remember from my bible days, is that there is only a SECOND COMING.

I have to say that I am in agreement with IAM... it cleary states no one will know. Thats why I find it funny anyway that people go about saying ITS THE END ITS THE END and then it doesn't happen. He didn't really seem thrilled to be marrying his pregnant girlfrined but he had also read some book about the rapture coming about a month after his wedding date. It seems like you think Jesus is saying, "Well, I had a crappy death, so you will too," which is not a very "Christian" attitude. Not every Christian, even among Jesus's followers died a horrible painful death, joc, and not every Christian in the U.S., much less the world lives the cushy life you're describing. Free will is also not specifically mentioned in the Bible, but it is a principle which is widely discussed, and probably like free will, the reality of the event called "the Rapture" will probably not be known until the end when Christians are "raptured" before the beginning of the Tribulation or if we (or the Christians alive at that point) live through it like everyone else.

Is this just me, or does being killed period constitute horrible? And a 'god' that would kill people because they do not believe in him, is childish to say the least. Of course, the rapture does stink of 'X-tians' (Christians who are less than holy, the bigots etc) Think, 'god' is going to come take them, and leave all the 'gays' and 'insert derrogatory name' to burn! Thessalonians 4:16-17 (Amplified Bible).
16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first.
17Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord!
The Lord just revealed the following phrase to me. In the above passage, the phrase "the living ones who remain on the earth"
This signifies the following. On 07 July 2007 all saints that passed away will come back to the earth in their resurrected bodies and us who are alive will receive our new resurrected bodies. For the next ten days all of us will witness to the lost and many will get saved of which some will die because of persecution. That is why it states that we which are alive and remain will be caught up. This will happen on 17 July 2007. The other saints will already be in heaven waiting for the bride of Jesus Christ as guests for the wedding supper. God truly will not hold anything back to save as many souls as possible. Praise His name!!

Since you seem to be so involved with the Bible, if your prophecy isn't right on June 16 this year, me and my Christian friends will gather to stone you for being a false prophet.
If your other prediction doesn't come true about July, we'll dig you up, and stone you again. Do you wish to succumb yourself to this law of the Holy Bible that all false prophets be stoned? Never ever have I ever even suggested in the least bit that I am a prophet. I have never made any prediction that I claimed as prophecy. You took something I said the wrong way (even after I explained to you what I meant), and it has forever tainted your opinion of me...how sad.
