Skeptics please make sure your explanations makes sense.
Believers don't get too excited.

I don't think anyone can top this video, if you can i would like to see it.
Please Explain
Though i believed on this thing, i will reserve my comments if this is fake or not.
But i do know, Japanese are strict when it comes to cheating.
Except the other side of Japan.

If he could do the same thing under controlled conditions in an environment that rules out trickery then I would consider it something credible; but that applies to pretty much all of the claims that folks make in this realm. Things like this are just too easy to fake and it doesn't matter what nationality the person is, there is always someone who will be less than honest for whatever reason. He very well could have the skills demonstrated here but until they are verified under proper conditions that rule out cheating no one knows.
Please Explain
My doubts on this is:
It's too far away. If he done it inches away then i will totally believe him.
With this kind of energy, not only the bricks is gonna be affected but the whole table.
I also doubt if he is really powerful doing it.
Now, this made me think, this video is faked !

Approximately 47 seconds into the video, you can see one or two frames that show a line running from the glass bottle, under the red cloth, and continuing on to the far right side of the frame. Is this a coincidental video defect or some kind of wire? With a little practice, you can pause the video to show the frame below.

Good observation! But now i wonder how did he use it to break the bottle? I'm going to replay the video and see
lufia
im sure all these claims are fake. randi spends his life looking to see if any of these claims are real and offers 1 million dollars if it can be done in control conditions to get rid of cheating.

Thanks, psifox. This is how I would've broken the glass. I could have built it as fast as drawing it, but my wife won't let me drill holes in the kitchen table.

St. Q did an excellent JOB w/the wire. thumbsup.gif It might not of been to pull but to also send heat - enough to crack the glass.

But that aside:
When people post "No Name Videos" like this one.

The one posting it has to answer these basic questions:
A. Were you present at the time of the video?
B. Do you know the 'old man' personally to vouch for him?
C. Do you know what was under the White Table Cloth?

See if you answer "NO" to those - then you have ZERO idea of what went on....

See you have to supply evidence that this ISN'T a fraud, since you supply it as "proof". Check out the "proof" you supply carefully or you might be sticking your foot in your mouth BIG TIME!

I always wish this stuff was true but have my serious doubts. Why does he need the table cloth? Why only one camera angle? There's just not enough evidence here to convince me in the slightest. It just looks like a hoax. And the meat cleaver and pushing stuff into his trachea is just an illusionist type trick. It's been done before. You never know though. There is that tiny possibility.

Shows a 'Master' at work and it's VERY impressive. Watch the 2nd video too, you'll be amazed.

Peace.

I'm amazed how he got his butt kicked in the second video, showing that he could be a fake.

Um, no it doesn't. I know enough about martial art to know a fake when I see it. My husband teaches Isshinryu.

You have to admire the harder martial arts. I do prefer the Japanese styles. Not as flashy or "magical", but a lot more to the point.

All styles have usefulness (my personal style is an amalgamation of ideas built around a frame of quick and dirty muay Thai). I admire anyone who puts in the time and effort to preserve the ancient skills in some form. Unfortunately, some folks still have this Shaw Brothers image of the warrior arts a view that continues to be supported by these so called qi masters.

OK, I know it wasn't the answer to everyone's questions. Hands up!

I posted that because it showed how much people can believe that it happens even when perhaps they do it themselves.
Yes he gets beaten hands down and that is why it is so good - shows the fallacy behind this type of power (in his case anyway).

I blame his students personally for making the old guy believe in himself!

That's so cool! My father-in-law used to practice Muay Thai, and actually won a few competitions!
I agree that a lot of this stuff has completely perverted the arts.
