In the Greek religion theres alot to show that the end is near.Like the end will start after God will see that no one belevies in him(Check Germany, most people there don't belevie in God,also no one wants to have children)also the world wil be burning and at the same time they would die from the water floads. Also it talkes about a small island in the mediterenian witch is conquered by the islam(See Cyprus)and the islamic countrie will start a war against the rest of the island and it will conquere it(They already start to lanch an attack in Cyprus)and then the red army will attack the islam and will kill them all.It also says in a code that the palestine and Iarael will kill them selfs in tha birth place of Jesus.I don't know if they are true and also i saw a documentory in tv that sayd that now it's too late to save the world cause even if we try to the world will be destroyd in 50 years

Georgek,
Well that is a pessimestic way to look at lfe.. Yes, the natural resources will be all gone in 50 years, but that the world will be destroyed? I doubt it. And if so, we can move to the moon! :D ;)

Well the view that all the resources may run out in 50yrs may not actually be true.

I think in 50yrs time science and tecnology would have advanced to the point where we will no longer have to rely on natural resources. If you think how far we've come in the last 50yrs, just take your PC for example.

Halo, you have a point there. After all, we just about manufacture 100% of our food at the present time; our clothes are maufactured, heat and A/C are manufactured. All we need is a way to manufacture 100% of oxygen to 100% of earths inhabitants, as well as manufacture 100% of carbon dioxide to the 100% of existing plant life. We also need to manufacture a type of global force-field to protect the earth from the sun's ultra-violet and gamma-rays due to the depletion of the ozone(which will be much worse by then). Lastly we need a source of free energy to fuel the machines that manufacture our food and clothes and oxygen and heat and A/C and recreation and transportation and our force-field.
But since this task isn't possible, this problem the earth faces can't be fixed by technology alone. People need to reduce, re-use and recycle; corporations need to implement ways to manufacture their products in a more environmentally friendly way, even if that means cutting into their profits, and at the same time assist governments with cleaning up the waters and the air and the ground they themselves polluted in the first place; and governments need to regulate and enforce strict environmental policies as well as assist corporations in cleaning up the water and the air and the ground.
Although our resources will outlast 50 years even at the present rate, reducing the human population and as well as the advice in paragraph 2 will ensure our survival on this planet at least until the next mass-extinction size asteroid hits us.

other than a global nuclear disaster, all i can seem to think is that the apocalypse will be a natural disaster.i personally do not believe that satan exists for real, but, i for one, believe people who DO believe in satan/antichrist are more a possible threat to the general good.god and satan are 'real', in the sense that they exist and control peoples ideas, which to me is a realer threat.

There'S no such thing as the apocalypse, the apocalyps his the end of the begening, and the begening of the end of misery,
so people pray for it to happen earts need to be apocaliptalised ,so the wars will end.
an yes I do beleive we will used of what we use today, but we are human we are more inteligent then dinasours.look back 200 years ago what we acomplish, good or bad has it has been,we will change like we changed then.

personally I believe if we do not destroy ourselves with nukes then the end will probablly come by an asteroid strike. They have become more and more common of late and its only a matter of time until a big one hits.

In 2015, China will launch a nuclear attack on the Eastern Seaboard of the United States. This will start World War III. 3 billion people will be killed- half the population of the world.

Your name suggests to me that you are ripping of someone elses work.
The majority of the people in this forum are aware of Mr. John Titor and his claims to be a time traveller from the future.
So unless you have an origional idea, i suggest you keep your ripped off opinions to yourself.
That is,unless you are the infamous Mr. Titor and you've decided to come back and see how we are all getting on!!!!

if you do a search on the "infamous" John Titor and read all of the accounts on his theory of time travel, you will find that he has been proven to be a fraud.
So, in my opinion, he is not "famous" he is "infamous".
My use of the word "infamous" is only used to imply that he now has a bad reputation.

He will only have a bad reputation to people who don't have a sense of humour.

I don't believe in a traditional Christian form of an apocalypse. The world really isn't much different then it was hundreds of years ago. There have always been wars, the middle-eastern areas have always been somewhat unrestful, and there have always been end of the world predictions in times of war and unrest.

I agree with Naveed! There has been talk and "signs" of the end of the world for centuries. As far as I know, it never came. Except maybe the end of the world as we know it...
