i've been intrigued about the bunnyman for some time now(the killer not the easter guy)and my friend moved to clifton, virginia some time ago...well i asked him for a couple of favours...i asked him to snoop around bunnyman bridge which he agreed to investigate for some weeks before calling me up on my phone and well heres what we talked about before he decided to NEVER go near there again:
(knowing that i just finished this conversation 1 hour ago)

we chatted for 20 minutes in our chatroom so heres what he said:

him: hi sam i got somethin to tell you...
me: yh bro what is it?
him: well i ve been lookin around BB for 3 weeks now and i know i owe you but i never wanna go there AGAIN!
me:c'mon man what happened?
him:you said bunnyman mutilates rabbits right?
me:yh
him:ok listen up cuz im only sayin this once and i NEVER! WANNA HEAR ABOUT IT OR THAT f***IN PLACE AGAIN!
me:chillout and tell me what happened man please!
him: well each section off the top of the bridge is covered in trees and sh** well...dude im really f***in freaked out man!
me: shut up and tell me!
him: alright well im lookin at the top of the the bridge all im hereing is scuttling i dunno what was man just birds...i was there at night man aswell...(i got balls)
me:yeah go on...
him im lookin up anyway when i hear scruffed footsteps and gigglin like a deep voices giggling...
me: yh dude ok...
him: i stare through the tunnel which is quite short and see a small long object in at the other end of the tunnel like a pillow with all the feathers ripped out...
me:cut to the chase
him:i go over and this f***ing half of a rabbits all over the place...I MEAN BLOOD F***ING EVERY AND THESE RABBIT PARTS SCATTERED ALL AROUND..I puked dude
me:f*** man
him: after that im hearing scuttling from above all i hear is a giggle and a whisper saying "bad boy bad boy bad bad boy* dude i f***ing ran home faster than forest gump and dude IM NEVER GOING BACK THERE EVER!!!
me: ok dude chillout ill talk to you tommorow ok...
him: ok ok please talk to me tommorow!
me:bye dude
him:bye

he sounded really freaked out on the phone and it scared the sh** outta me too im really fascinated about this but theres three points which prove me right and wrong

true points
1. scuttling footsteps could tell that the bottom padded parts of a suit (bunny suit) causing scuffling sounds of movement
2. the bunnyman mutilated rabbits which made me piss my pants when he told me(i know its stupid to tell you but thats how scared we were)
3. the bunnyman killed disobedient young children and teenages "bad boy bad boy bad bad boy"

false points
1.the rabbit could of been mauled by a fox or dog bite marks may be visible to determine whoever killed it
2.scuffling could of been a bag caught in a bush making scuffling noises
3. being scared can cause fearful side effects like a breath can sound like a whisper

please believe me im still shaking while typing this!!!

thankyou

Couple of things-How old are you and where do you live? If you're twelve and live in New York City I have a different (non-gun) answer than if you're 25 and live in Alabama, dig?
Scream
Don't ever let him go there again!

In the legend, Bunny Man's purported victims typically are disobedient children or young adults investigating the legend or behaving mischievously away from adult supervision. Groups are separated from one another and the group that returns to the bridge, seemingly not lost, leaves the other members of the group to be stranded without transportation as a joke. Upon returning the next day they locate their lost friends hanging from the train bridge overpass with the same modus operandi of the "Bunny Man".

Agreed.
Perhaps if there was more information to back it up or something?

A link, perhaps?

I believe he really did see something, but I'd say it can all be explained as you said: Fox killing a rabbit, breathing sounding like whispers, etc.

Know what's really funny about these legends? That even though they sayy people die, or dissappear you never see them on the news. Even if it's a government conspiracy you'd still think you'd hear people telling stories of how their brothers, mother, fathers, or kids got eaten, killed, or dissappeared (I'm not talking about friends of friends of friends...)
ziggy455
thankyou all for you comments and theorys and im not sure whether to belive him or not i mean he could be tired of snooping around for me but im sure hes seen something...

if anyone else has any idea about if it could be true or not im open to all comments...

i found a link of the bunny man bunny man: the true man

someone from antioch ordinance needs to tell that guy to quit wasting all that good meat and fur
.Ammiel.
Yeah I dunno, it just doesn't seem that very much believable. I have heard the urban legends and even read some articles, but I'm still not convinced that there is a grown up man who dresses up in a bunny suit killing people. It would be a whole lot better if your friend took pictures or had a video. It almost sounds like the story of the jersey devil.
MoonPrincess
Ammiel, some urban legends are purely "fake." That is solely what "bunny man" is. An urban legend. Being a Marylander, I don't know if he's real or not. And I was born here. But I don't think anybody has ever seen him. If they have, the stories will be flying around my state. Trust me & I would know if anybody has been him.
sadistic jellyfish of doom
There was a murder in the area, but it was just some crazy guy with a shotgun. No bunny suit.
MoonPrincess
They say it's a crazy guy dressed in a bunny suit. He escaped from the bus with other people like him. And they couldn't find him. :/ And that's how the "Bunnyman" story got started.

That's what I heard too. Only it was an Asylum bus, and they couldn't find one other guy along with him. Then later they found the other guy hanging from the bridge.

You have to admit the other way makes a much better mental image of a serial murderer though...
distortedpandy
Totally, It would have been much cooler if he had the bunny suit.

It was some bus. :/ I'll copy the story from my book here. Later. There was another guy? I never heard that before.

In my book "Weird U.S," it says in there. The police around the time he escaped. Saw a man or whoever in a bunnyman. I'm not calling you a liar. That's what it says in my book.

GaarasDemonicPetBunny
The Bunny Man is psycho....... who would mutilate poor help-less bunnies...
Wolfox
The Bunny Man sounds freaky. Really freaky. What sick psycho tears up little rabbits and disobedient people? What kinda murderer is THAT?! It sounds like a weird guy who just escaped from the usual asylum, but violence to animals is just.. *Coughs up his lung and runs away*
(I can't even look at this topic anymore. It's horrible!!)

Whoa, I'm having Donnie Darko flashbacks...
GreenFriend
Bunnyman, oh how we love you! I've heard reports of this great spooky story, and who knows? There have been some down played reports of a man wearing a rabbit suit (in the 60's?) with an axe walking the highways of the area, as well as the bridge itself. I also know that if you look up the land history of the area, there was no record of an asylum in the area at the time of the supposed "bus incident".

There was also another man with this Bunnyman, as others have said, and we was, as the story goes, found hanging from the bridge, murdered by the very (Bunny)man who helped him escape.
slipklok
Some time around the 70s (i think it was the 70s) a "copycat killer" attacked a couple people near the bridge. He never was caught, but he never killed anyone.
Oh crap someone already mentioned that srry.

rofl. Loved Donnie Darko.

Christ, running into a psycho like that must leave really bad memories.
e baby
Okay, I'm a bit confused. Is this "Bunny Man" a ghost or an actual killer that is still alive? And what does "misbehaving" include? innocent.gif
