Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones is originally believed to have drowned in his swimming pool, supposedly while on drugs and/or liquor.

I didn't know this until recently, but he supposedly was actually murdered by one of his groundskeepers. This same person claimed to have done do just before he died. I did read somewhere that Brian Jones did not have significant enough levels of drugs in his system at the time of his death to have caused him to drown while swimming.
American Chupacabra
No idea. I don't know much about him, except that he's a member of the 27 club.
The Mule
Here's some great info - including the fact that the Stones had basically replaced him with Mick Taylor, and the murder confession...

Yet people drown every day without having drugs and alcohol in their systems,On the other hand why would a dying man confess to something he didn,t do ? I guess we might never know for sure!

The latest movie on Brian Jones is based on the death bed confession of his minder, who says they were messing around in the pool and horseplay got out of hand and Jones died
