Where do atheists get off calling myself, my family and most of my friends annoying? How would they have any idea about the personal nature of my family and/or friends?
Or are they targeting our faith?

Where's the gripes about all other faith based religions? They preach the same basic philosophy!

I think it's the demon's residing inside man that are attacking Christianity. Since Christianity seems to be almost exclusively attacked on the internet and in the left wing media, it only reaffirms my belief that it's the one true religion.

You're falling into the same stupid mistake those you are complaining about have, Thozz, because the majority of atheists, even here in UM are respectful of those who have spiritual beliefs and are quite respectable. Just because those who have a fear/hatred of Christianity are more vocal and because their vileness hurts so much that it causes them to be more "visible" does not mean they are representative of the majority of atheists.

For what the faith preaches and beliefs, well... It is really unreasonable to think it'll be simply ignored because it's PC to be nice to faith.

Well anyway lets see do you go around knocking on people's door's and continually pester them to try and convert them? Do you try and force you're belief on other's when they don't really want to know? If yes then yes you are annoying If no then you are not annoying.




People do complain about other faith based religions if they try and force their belief onto other's or continually pester them like a mosquito.



Yes it is horrible if you don't deserve it. but if you are stepping on people's toes or trying to teach you're faith as absolute truth and fact then you are kinda fibbing.

obviously you haven't been paying attention. other religions get it too, but none are as obnoxious as christianity here in America. if we were in another country where another religion is the bulk then you'd hear about that.

you believe in something that has no proof outside the bible. it isn't truth because you have no proof. what you have is theory and a rather weak one at that.

your belief of it being the one 'true' religion is about as factual as the sun revolving around the earth or the earth being fact. it's only true to you. not the bulk of humanity.

I'm athiest. I dont find all religious people annoying, just the ones obsessed about the religion preaching to you whats right and wrong. Going to your door and trying to convert you while thinking that their religion is superior to all the rest. Hehe, a religion obsessed person will try to convert you but never wants to hear you try to convert them.



Dont you mean something more like "You have never heard of an athiest killing a christian for being a christian"? I'm pretty sure there have been athiest murders, and christian ones (I think btk was one?) and other religions too. I wouldnt say there has never been a recorded death about an athiest killing a christian for his religion though, as I'm sure there is some sick person out there that will do it.

Thozzman, I can only assume that this thread has been started in reply to the "those annoying Christian" thread. Yes, we moderators did receive your Report and have addressed your concerns. That thread was started by a Christian, respectfully written, and aimed to find answers to a legitimate question. This thread is a knee-jerk reaction to what you perceived as an attack on your faith. Its sole aim seems to be to attack atheists, and won't lead to anywhere but strife. As such, I'm closing this thread before more flaming/flamebaiting can occur.
