Alright...this is odd. When we first moved into this house, I felt instantly that something was wrong in certain areas of the house. The laundry room, the garage and the hallway. In the laundry room, sometimes the kitchen I swear I see images of a hanging man. In the hallway I see a little girl that looks burned, she/it makes me shudder everytime I walk from the bathroom to my room...The worst is the one in the garage and under the house. I saw her in a random dream once. She's mostly decayed and constantly laughing hysterically. She creeps underneath the house like some kind of odd insect with an inhuman speed and sometimes I can feel her underneath my feet, like she's following me.

These don't seem to be the typical ghost/poltergeist you read about. We've had some activity where a cabinet fell on top of my little sister when she was not touching it at all.

Have you ever had these types of experiences anywhere else you've lived in the past or any other paranormal occurrences at other places you've lived?

Wellin most cases this kind of stuff occurs then the person makes it worse by not moving, sooooo if at all posible, move...

That is nightmarish. If by any chance there is something to it, it doesn't seem to be (ghostly) but more than that.. imo, it's just too freaky.

It is nightmarish. I've had these feelings before in certain other houses, but I've never seen vivid images like with here, even though my Mom has said that she's seen horrific things in a condo we lived in once, even something demonish. I can tell you guys some other images that have pieced through about these ghosts or whatever they are, maybe a story can be formed.

I have those freaky flashes of things out of nowhere many times. Some just blew my mind, and It un-nerved me so bad, I couldn't sleep thinking about it..

i just had a quick look at some of the other topics, one of them was about equipment for a paranormal investigation, you must be aware that some paranormal investigators do get ghosts and spirits attached to them, and iv even heard of a few that seem to magnet then, its probably your house though, there are a few ways you can go about it, 1. you could get a local priest to preform an exorcism and see if that works, or 2. you could move out. and sell it to me (joking of course), good luck

Ah that's over exaggeration for the sake of humor. Most of the time, they just kind of...look at me. That or smile. Thankfully the laughing lady (as she has been fondly dubbed) doesnt seem to be able to come into the first floor of the house. The hanging man just kind of stares or smiles from time to time. The child I try to stay away from because she seems to be violent and unpredictable.

It seems like in could be 1 of 2 things, 1 its could be over imagination. maybe you been in going through rough time and its shocked you, and you halucinating extremely. or maybe there's actaully somat there, try find history of the house, maybe something has happened there that you dont familiar with, and if worse come to worst, get a priest of some sort in, or move, but it is pretty freaky..........

Ahh didnt know you where seventeen, i see a cloaked figure and i hate it, theres nothing i can do about it, it follows me all the time, and now there even in my dreams, i tried not to sleep, but then it only got worse. So if it gets that bad read the bible, i dont belive in god due to certain reason, but i have the bible in my room and it never appears there and it did before i had a bible in ma room, so take a bible around wit you, unfortauntly thats all the advice i can give, good luck, hope it works out

I think I'm of pretty sound mind. They don't really come in the forms as in you could just reach out and touch them or be hurt by them, they are mere flashes of imagery at times. Most of the times they are just a terrible feeling and an urge to make you run. From what I can tell about the history, there was a small fire but no one died. Apparently the family that lived here a few decades ago had a mental woman living with them (the mother, I think). I think that is my laughing lady, though it doesn't explain why she looks like a decomposed demon.

Maybe she looks like a decomposed demon, because you getting flash of the way she feels, or they way she see's her self. Or maybe there trying to scare you?? I know what you been by flashes trust me, long story but i understand completely. Maybe you are able to see into the next realm. i dont belive in ghost or any of the sort, but i have seen plenty and still to this day, see plenty.

Well this isn't the first time this has happened. In certain places I've lived in my life I've been inexplicably scared at certain parts of the house or apt. and I'm not one that frightens easily. You guys don't think there is something that's off about me, do you?

Yeah I know! I used to think about writing a story about what I saw, I just could never get a good background story going for it (like what happened to make her this way). I got a few ideas but all of them seemed in bad taste.

From things I've read, sometimes if a person lives in a haunted house but then moves away, the ghosts will eventually follow them.

Well then I guess we'll all be like a normal family someday then staring at each other viciously and pounding on the walls late at night to make the others shut up.

Oh, nothing. Someone said above that if you live in a haunted house long enough they follow you when you move. I was just making a joke at that, because it seems like the darned ghosts and I are more of a stereotypical family then I am with my own folks. I constantly find them staring at me and me making faces back or just sort of raising an eyebrow, that or banging on the wall for them to be quiet late at night. Sort of like a real family, except they're decomposing ghosts and I'm the weird girl that sits there and talks to them.

After our father died, my brother kept seeing his ghost in the form of a decomposing corpse, for way too long. I've heard it said that the kind of spirits who hang around to be ghosts are the messed up people who probably aren't so good to hang out with.

Oh, believe me I know. The only one that hasnt attempted something violent is the hanging man, he just sort of smiles from time to time very perversley. The little girl has pushed a cabinet over on my little sister and the laughing lady has tried to grab me a few times, but they've seemed to calm lately for some reason and just stare at me because apparently they are aware that I know they are there. Decomposition sometimes represents transition into something new or a breaking away from something old and painful. Perhaps the pains of life.

For some reason, when I think of the "crawling underneath of the house", I automatically think of that ghost movie, The Messengers.

Haven't seen it, actually. Someone said it was sort of stupid because it was a ghost movie that imposed morale on the viewers somehow.

This sounds awful, have you tried anything to keep yourself protected spiritualy? lol I know this sounds a little silly but I think in your situation you need to try anything you can.

Everynight I ground and protect myself and ask for st micheals blue coat of protection to protect me and i visulise white light around me, lol i know it sounds like a load of crap but for me it works, i feel safe and protected.

In every haunting I have ever heard of that resembles this one, the deceased are showing these disturbing pictures because there is some information or a story that they're trying to tell. They need something acknowledged. If you find out what, then tell them you understand.

I don't think there's enough info here to decide if this is a haunting or a very vivid and morbid imagination. Either way, there's a message here, and it's important to find out what it is.

I doubt it's vivid imagination. A cabinet came down on my little sister when she was nowhere near it amongst other odd things. I have some more images that I can tell you, maybe you can help me piece it together.

You're right to say that imagination can't cause a cabinet to fly across a room. It would certainly get my attention.

From the images I have gathered so far, I've gathered that the Laughing Lady was mentally insane beyond belief. So insane in face that she locked the little girl in the closet and set it on fire. The father (the hanging man) pulled her out before she was killed but her face had been malformed by the fire. In his anger, he took a piece of the burning wood and struck the woman with it then dragged her outside and locked her underneath the house. When he came inside, the little girl was shrieking in pain and I think he must have gone into shock because I see him picking up a gun...

I for one think the man being hung was a man who either A. hung himself or B. Was hung. I have the feeling he isn't malevolent or wants to hurt you. The girl, the burned one. I feel that she isn't evil in the way people think she just likes to mess with you and doesn't mean to harm you. However, the lady under the house, I get a bad and creepy feeling thinking about her. I feel that she isn't human, possibly a demon of some kind. I feel that if she could get to you and your family she would hurt you badly maybe even kill you. Be careful and get a priest to bless the house. Infact, when I was thinking and reading about her my eyes water and felt like I was being watched.

I feel sorry for the little girl and the dad then.

The laughing lady is the worst, yes, but I do feel a sense of bitterness from the little girl and I do think she wants to hurt me and my little sister. The hanging man just feels somewhat...perverse, I know he's watched me perversely but most of the time he feels more so sad and lost. The laughing lady I saw once before. Two men were under the house doing some construction work and she began to speed towards them, laughing hysterically. I saw through her eyes for a moment and it felt like she was on a chain of some sort, like an animal but she kept laughing.

Not the first time Ive felt and seen disturbing things. In my grandparents old house, I hated being in certain rooms and parts of the hallways because it would always feel like something was chasing me down and I would have to run, even though I knew if I did my parents would make me stop and walk calmly T.T;

I too was thinking along those lines...And yes, spirits can follow from one house to another....The St. Michaels, Hail Mary and Our Father prayers, do help, but perhaps when you see these spirits, tell them to leave, they are not welcome in your home...They will feed off of your fear....

I got a pretty sweet idea.
Spend the night in all those rooms with a camera and then post it here after just for fun you know see what happens.

Funny, same here! I couldn't stay on my computer reading this thread. I had to get up every few posts to sit down with my dog, because I felt something was behind me, but left every time I turned around!

And to Surrian, you seem like you have a pretty serious problem. Have you ever considered calling TAPS? I am sure you have heard of their show, Ghost Hunters? I am sure they would be extremely interested in your house.

Hmm...I just dont know how my folks would feel about them coming to search our house. Plus they might think it was a big hoax and that would be no good.

I love those After Dark movies. Gravedancers was good. The Hamiltons was pretty decent. REINCARNATION had the best ending.

Interesting. I've read the entire thread and will admit that I've never encountered anyone who can elaborate such detail in just a few said words. Your young, and I think you have a lot more experiences to come. Your just now developing your abilities.

What an utterly gruesome, yet fascinating story. For your sake, I hope you can rid of them soon. It's not a very healthy situation to constantly be reminded of a brutal Attempted Homicide and Suicide, with someone who had possibly had a severe mental disorder and was left untreated, and mistreated.

The whole situation is totally warped.
