I was wondering why people believe in a religion (especially in God) and why people don't. Not the philosophical version but the personal one (not too personal of course)

Thank you for any replies

Right from when I was a little girl I've always seen design in everything around me (I have an art/design background, so that's also been an influence in me thinking this way I imagine). With design comes a designer. That's basically where it all began... and nothing much has changed. I'm a Deist by the way.

I beleive simply because I want to. I haven't seen any concrete evidence of God's existence, but I don't really need to. I will always beleive he is there.

BTW....God has always given me everything I prayed for, so that always helps yes.gif
