If anyone knows the show Charmed then you know that the three sisters are witches and have amazing powers. Do you think that we might have powers like that? Orbing or stopping time or leviating? Or being able to prodict the future? I mean it's something to think about. So what do you think?

In the near future this could happen or many people might come down to earth with amazing powers and gifts.

I believe we do have "powers" we don't know we have. Over the years, popularity has told us to be normal. So now, having powers would make us abnormal, and no one wants to be that. Maybe if we look deep inside we can focus on what powers we do have.

Like the series i feel we each have our own special powers. Like everyone has different personality trates, we have different power trates.

I think that we all have our own special skills, but I wouldn't go quite as far as saying we have "powers".

I don't think that anyone is going to levitate, stop time, ride a broomstick...or any of the stuff that one would see on the show...It isn't possible. Sorry.

By skills I mean more along the line of abilities or talents. To me, a person that crank out a beautiful tune on a piano has a "power" that I will never have, same thing with painting...Shakepeare's writings are magical to me in that no matter how hard I tried, I could never hold a candle to what he writes.

Powers in the iconic witch sense, I don't buy it.

Here is what I know about human power's

Normal human -
human who has not become any of the following and has no real special powers they can use on command , but they may have something lying dorment ( ussually asociated with psi )

Wiccan
Not sure about this , but wiccans apperantly do have some magic spells / curses they can use . I am not sure if they work ... any wiccans on the forum with this info ?

Holy man
Uses the power of faith in god to allow him to spiritually heal others wounds . Ussualy a gift from god .

Satanist
Satanists have some pretty nasty curses , often times asociated with death and eternal misery .

Psion
Draws no energy from any diety , but from energy gathered from nerve clusters called psi ( as far as we know ... could be its from somewhere else but it is easier to gather psi from nerve clusters ) . Their is a very long list of things psions can do . The most usefull things being sheilds that affect other people's thoughts , and ability to predict the future through dreams .

Psychic
Can predict the future , but unlike a psion , they gather energy from an unknown energy source . Predicting the future is all they can do . A psychic often uses palm reading and tarot cards to help . ( yes ,their IS a differance between a psion and a psychic , even though most psychic / psions are also the other their are many just singular ones )


Well , thats its , not really sure about the wiccans and satanists though .
