PBS ran a special on the Shroud of Turin a few weeks ago. I almost didn't watch it as I've watched quite a few shows on it and it's all the same info, usually. This show was more up to date though and mentioned the Sudarium of Oviedo. Up till then, I had never even heard of the Sudarium. It said in the show that the analysis done on both suggest they covered the same man. I did a little research on it, but I want to know your opinions.

Do you think the Sudarium and the Shroud covered the same man?

I cant say.......never actually heard much about it,,,,,guess its gonna give me something to research

I'll be honest, after seeing the show and hearing what they've found recently, I was inclined to believe it again. I've gone back and forth over the years dependig on what is found about it. But, it was when they started talking about the sudarium that I was really awed.

The Sudarium of Oviedo ,Spain has been around a long time and has a better documented history than the shroud if I recall.
In other words we have records going back I believe to the 8th century.I'll have to read up on it,but this is very exciting news.
