Ello, I'm Kelly and I'm a noob here, although ive been coming on and reading these forums for about two years. Anyway awhile back when I was in 4th grade, I was at my cousin Dylan's house who at the time was in 2nd grade, while my sister was in 1st grade. Well Dylan lived across from this old abandoned Holiday Inn, and her older brother had told us awhile before about some dead animal over there so we went across the street to look for it. Before we went searching for the dead animal, we spent some time looking through the windows of the hotel which didn't really interest us. We then started walking over to the mail box to see if anything would be in there. Well there was, a newspaper. The first strange thing we noticed about this newspaper was that it was covered in what looked like blood. We picked it up anyway and the first thing we all notice was the article of Dylan's cousin on her other side of her family who had died many years earlier in a car accident. Which makes the situation sort of weirder was that the hotel had been closed long before he died so just the fact that the newspaper would still be there, or that it was even in there to begin with was strange. After that all i remember is we got Dylan's dad to come see it, then we had to go wash out hands. But the whole thing was just quite strange and a bit ironic..

Sounds creepy, I remember years ago my friends and I were exploring an abandoned house and the walls were smeared with what looked like old blood and other excrements hmm...yea.. The people who lived there were apparently on the run...

I think there's always something naturally sinister about buildings like that and it can really get the imagination going I can't help but think the older brother may have had something to do with this if he told you about a dead animal in there...

very spooky,didn't you want to go back again & again,i would have,just to see if anybody came to collect the paper ?
