So, aliens can walk through walls, float in the air, and completely vanish. That is impossible by human standards. Few science fiction writers even dare to suggest such technology, so what is going on here? Well I have long been pondering the abilities of a person who has access to extra spatial dimensions. The properties I am referring to are explained in detail in the book called "Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions " by Edwin Abbott. An extra dimensional being would have some of the amazing abilities like those attributed to aliens and those mentioned in Flatland. An extra dimensional being could seemingly appear and disappear in any place. They could travel long distances almost instantly depending on how our 3-dimensional space is "layed out" in their dimension. They could move without apparent propulsion, and good luck ever finding evidence of one, the evidence like the being would eventually drift back out of our dimension. So what do you think? Do more than 3-spatial dimensions exist? Could a being travel in more than 3 spatial dimensions? Can exploiting extra dimensions explain extraterrestrial abilities?

I agree, but there are limits to 3 dimensional technology. For instance, one can never go faster than the speed of light. This is a reality of out 3d world that people use to debunk the idea of visitors to our plantet. Interstellar travel could be trivial in a higher dimension.

I believe that one of the quantum physics theories is based on 11 dimensions but havent heard of 9

string thoery... but some say like 11 and others 20 ^^

I have also heard of this theory, however I have also been advised that there are 12 and that this particulat theory does not count the transition dimension. It only counts the 11 arrival points and knows that there is travel between dimensions. It does not see or recognize this 12th dimension that a particle will be in on its way from one point to the other.

Naturally it is safe to assume we will understand science more 1,000 years from now than we do today. So why could we not conclude that races of beings that are many thousands of years ahead of us in science would not in fact have quite a bit of knowledge about dimensional travel.

I think when the human race can become humble enough to recognize how little we understand about the nature of our reality, we will be ready for the teacher ET's out there. Until then we will confine our understanding of science to what we are able to prove with existing test related evaluations. This is as it should be. I wonder how many races of beings destroy themself before they become enlightened. That would be an interesting statistic I suspect.

personally i dont believe in interdimensional travel...i believe aliens could have the technology; to make you think they are interdimensional. but it's just hi-tech tricks?..

Im using Occam's razor. It is easier, for me, to assume that the phenomena associated with ET's are the result of the ability to move between more than 3 spatial dimensions, than it is to assume they have broken every known law of physics.

using very simple logic, i would have to say ET. Why? Well, who said our physics are right?!?!?!?! Only 200 years ago we didnt have a computer, laser or sooo many other things. At the rate were going in 500 years (unless our stupidity kills us) our technology will be beyond our wildest dreams. And the funny thing is, technology useally does not progress as planeed in the long run. Look at some of Arthur C Clarks books. And so many other views of the future, even the year 2000. So even if we think we know what the world will be like in 100+ years, it probably wont be. Go ask someone 90+ how much the world has changed. Blaming unkown technology on other dimensions, is basically just throughing away the question because we humans are soo full of ourselves and think ourselves as superior and all knowing.

actualy 200 years ago there were computer. They just werent electronic. Another example could be. the floating alien. I've heard this in stories of close encounters. Whitnesses will say the ET's float in air, and are naked. No technology is even mentioned. No jetpacks or hover cars or strings. They just float. With modern physics thats impossible.

well, nature does seem to agree that we are atleast right as far a human preception in concerned.

If you really have to believe in the technology thing, then interpert what I am saying as. "they have technology that gives them the ability to move through more than 3 spatial dimensions." There isnt much of an arguement from me on this issue. I've just noticed that having access to more spatial dimensions would give one the abilities that alien have according to whitness accounts.

Hmm, well... perhaps the technology of the ETs is so powerful, the molecules move in their body so fast, they can pass through walls like they weren't there.

Possible... but speculating only..imo maybe they change the 'state of mass' of the object, such as a wall while keeping the object aligned/contained within a some kind of field.
Just a thought.

I will add my own experience wierd but true. I used to work for a school dept in the USA. I not under any influence of drugs or any other substacne was able to somehow defy gravity. I was able to glide myself down the hallways doing secuity checks no LIE. I was like in a self induced trance which I maintained for 2 years. I subsequently left the job and the ability vanished. I am not BSing anyone that was absolutley true. I do not know how or why but I do believe that power is in us all. I had at the time tuned into something it was surreal but I do not discount this because of my own experience.
