Are there any places one could go to ask some serious (and personally sensitive) questions about a near death experience? All I can find is a 60 post/day mailing list that seldom actually talks about their topic, and a very learned-looking web site with a broken "contact" form. And though the people here can be very interesting at times, this doesn't seem like quite the place for anything too sensitive.

I know of one person who had a near death experience and met a relative who they thought was alive, only to find out later that the relative in question had died two days before the experience. So yes, I think it's possible. There's so many first-hand experiences collected which don't depend on any particular religion, it seems difficult to deny.
