When I was in about 4th and 5th grade, there were two books that I repeatedly checked out, and I can't think of their titles. One was about ghosts and hauntings, and I know specifically that it had a story about the bell witch in it.
The other was about monsters, including bigfoot (i think) and the giant squid.
I believe they were by the same author.
