Do you have a personal favorite genre when it comes to picking a movie, a book, video game or whatever before you try it out?

My personal ones would have to be mystery and horror (thats a given) oh! and suspense! Kinda like Shamalan's movies before they started to suck (lady in the water . . . oh so sad . . .)

Books?

I tend to pick up LONG series fantasy novels, then series mystery novels, and always historical fiction. I'm not much of a non-fiction reader.

Movie?

I LOVE dark comedies probably followed up by sci-fi and I love baseball movies. haha.

Right now I'm dangling between three books I started reading lol. Warcraft Archive, Memoirs of a Geisha, and The Shinning.
