Hi all,

Just thought I would inquire as to whether anyone has experienced the same strange phenomenon as I have recently. I also would appreciate it if anyone could share their thoughts as to a possible explanation. Here's my story.
I had this best friend that has since passed away about three weeks ago. She died of spinal meningitis. It was very sudden and shocking to her family and of course friends. This friend and her boyfriend were over at my house the night before and she appeared to be fine. Approximately eight hours later I received a call from her boyfriend explaining that she was extremely sick and wanted me to come over. I did so and once I realized that she was delirious and entirely unaware of her surroundings, I called 911 immediately. Several tests were done at the hospital and a spinal tap finally revealed that she in fact had meningitis. About two days lapsed and finally a conclusive test (EEG) confirmed that she had well over 80% brain damage. She was on life support at this time and her parents agreed that under the circumstances it would be best to remove this support and allow her to pass on given that there could never be a change. The initial infection had destroyed virtually all of her vital organs to survive.
My struggle with all of this is... the morning I arrived at her house I had this profound sensation that I had witnessed this incident before. I could actually recall her expression, behavior, screams of pain and most importantly the look she had in her face. Of course by this time she was oblivious to any rational thought. The paramedics arrived and took her to the hospital immediately.
Ever since this has happened I continue to ask myself how it's possible that I could have seen all of this in the past...and in explicit detail. I'm not sure if it was in a dream or some kind of premonition. Any ideas?

I have had this happen to me as well, but not in such an extreme way. I went to a nice, scenic location in Wales, that I had never been to before, and as I walked out of the main building there, into the sunlight, I stopped and was like "Woah, I saw the exact same view in one of my dreams"

That has happened a few times, but that was the first and most memorable time. Sometimes I get the feeling that I know exactly what happens next, and it happens, which is pretty cool, and all based on a dream. It's a shame I don't have any dreams about casinos sad.gif , as I tend to change my actions slightly in the 'real world' event if it all went wrong in the dream, and then it doesn't go wrong.
