The Secrets of Coral Castle

Did a Latvian immigrant rediscover the secrets to the building of the pyramids... of levitation... of anti-gravity? His amazing "castle" may hold clues to long-lost powers.

Leedskalnin on
Magnetic Current

See the castle that Ed Leedskalnin built single-handedly , moving massive blocks of rock alone
Working alone, Leedskalnin labored for 20 years – from 1920 to 1940 – to build the home he originally called “Rock Gate Park” in Florida City.
It’s estimated that 1,000 tons of coral rock were used in construction of the walls and towers, and an additional 100 tons of it were carved into furniture and art objects:

* An obelisk he raised weighs 28 tons.
* The wall surrounding Coral Castle stands 8 ft. tall and consists of large blocks each weighing several tons.
* Large stone crescents are perched atop 20-ft.-high walls.
* A 9-ton swinging gate that moves at the touch of a finger guards the eastern wall.
* The largest rock on the property weighs an estimated 35 tons.
* Some stones are twice the weight of the largest blocks in the Great Pyramid at Giza.

They had a special on Discover about a guy that by himself is able to move multi ton stones and arrange them using basic techniques. It was very cool to watch but nothing mystical.

Ain't that the little 5' 3" immigrant who lived in Florida and built that garden to try to get his girl to come back?

yes..i've been there it's amazing!...
Simple Logic
wow from the pics ive seen this looks like this guy likes moons and stars alot....but who really thinks he would have use anti grav technolegy to build it..i mean if it was to win back a girl, wouldnt he have told her so she would be impressed by his ability?? huh.gif
wouldnt he have told someone before he died?
Simple Logic
yes it would have been amazing to see it....where is it?

are you sure he used some mystical powers or antigravity levatation what if he was just lyying and had 100 people build it for him using cranes and the sought.

although if it is antigravity it would be a shame he didnt tell anyone before he died.

I've heard of this guy as well as his "monuments" i guess they are called. Sounds amazing. Abhorsen, I think I'll try anti-gravity techniques as a pickup line to see what comes of it and get back to you lol. However it may work better or worse for me. Ol' Ed and his tricks, it would be very interesting if he did use some odd method of building it.

haha...gud luck with the pick up lines! laugh.gif yer i recon if he did use anti grav technolegy he would have told some one

Coral Castle is in Florida USA.
Leedskalnin wrote several books (booklets, actually) and claimed that all the "secrets" he used to build the castle are in the books. I may be a little slow (but still an engineer) but either he hid them very well, or I'm not capable of decoding what he wrote, or he didn't write them at all.
His book on magnetics leaves something to be desired, I can say that. However, some that he wrote is true, whether the theory is correct or not. I worked with quite a lot of magnetics through the years, and some of his stuff I was not aware of (I also taught electronics for a while, and it's not in the books). So apparently he did know some stuff that has escaped us science oriented people.
R. L. Clark, PhD, claims to have figured out the "antigravity" part of Leedskalnin. Clark is a well-educated and intelligent man, and I'm sure he can be found on the web, or some of his writings, at least. Unless you've been trained in the mathematics of physics, good luck with him, as his theory is complex (sort of a new field theory inclusive gravitics).

Levers, pullies and ramps. Those are the only 'secret powers' needed to move large rocks. And lots of time if you plan on doing it singlehandedly, 20 years for coral castle apparantly. 1000 tons is not very much to move over a period of 20 years.

Yup one man can move almost anything. Here is the video that shows one man can move masive stones. Anti gravity, I don't think so.
