Just a question really. We often hear of places as having 'evil' feelings or auras about them, usually places where horrific crimes have occured or people have died but has anyone had an experience or heard of experiences where 'evil' has been sensed before they found out something had happened there or had heard stories about the place. Seems to me that if there were many cases then evil could be in some way quantified. I just ask because my friends and I used to swear an empty house nearby gave us stange sensations when we were in it but I used to think it was just because we already knew a guy had killed his family and hung himself there years earlier and it had been empty since.

Most certainly... you don't necessarily have to feel "evil" either, you can feel the good imprints also. The same goes with people.. you can sense their personality, their problems/addictions even... or I can.. but it works the same way for me with people and places, (lol, even animals)..

One "evil" experience for me was when my brother and his wife were about to buy this huge very old home out in the country.. annabellum is what we call it.. I walked in the house and felt that un-nerving sense overcome me, and I immediately started rubbing my arms from chills, I became really nervous, looking over my shoulder in some crazy paranoia.. I told my brother that I was feeling a "wrong" about the place, suddenly the lights above us started blinking off and on..
He freaked out (and he's this big tuff guy fireman lol) well, they decided not to buy the house once they found out (thru real estate agent) a man had killed his g/f and himself in that very living room..

There have been many locations I have visited that have made me feel uncomfortable and which I've attributed to past events of a negative kind occurring there. Usually it's a fleeting sensation.

Some times I've felt very dark energies in locations - for example in the plague room of Mary Kings Close - now there is a seriously negative atmosphere.

However, I have not visited it myself but have heard from many people who have, that the Colosseum in Rome has a very definite atmosphere of evil inside it, especially in the lower levels. If any experiments were going to be conducted to try and quantify or collect evidence of an evil air, then that would be the place to start.

I've definitely felt these things before without any rhyme or reason to why I am feeling them. My response is usually to keep my mind calm, stay alert and focused, and to keep myself guarded. Internally and externally. As a practitioner of the Martial Arts and Shaolin Kung Fu in particular, near Master of Qigong, and the ability to use my Chakra and Chi ( Energy, spiritual power, whatever you want to call it ) above that of the normal person, Ajna in particular, I have little problem fending off such things. - To the regular person, I might suggest.

Calm your mind, focus on the feelings around your body, remain aware, but become more relaxed. This is the best position for you to be in. After all, it's easier to hit a stiff board than it is to hit a wet noodle. - If you're relaxed, you're far more likely to be in a safe state. If you're stiff, frightened, and worried? Only bad can come of it. Cool minds prevail.

Well one thing I have heard of in various documentaries is the presence of high magnetic fields.

These make people feel cold, have their hairs stand on the back of their necks and also feel like they are being watched and some 'evil' presence is in the room with them.

In a controlled experiment the scientists exposed people sitting in a chair to these high magnetic fields and they started to feel like they were watched; they felt uneasy - some felt like they were being touched and another even saw a figure before him!!

All sounds familiar??

It is supported that many 'haunted areas' are high in these magnetic fields!

Thats exactly the sort of experience I was talking about but is it just a sense that you and other certain 'tuned' people have or is it common to us all ?

As for the Coloseum in Rome we all know what happened there and how much death and misery the place has seen so we are sort of pre-programmed to expect the sense of 'evil'.

I think a sense of evil in a location is a bit different to feeling watched, feeling uneasy, being touched and seeing figures. Or at least it was for me... original.gif
