I remember a few years back spending a few days at my old friend's house, well I stayed threw Halloween. Well we where going outside to go trick-or-treating and I had a eerie feeling to look up at the roof. So, when I looked I saw the oddest site I have ever seen, green glowing footprints! No body,no sound or anything. Just green glowing footprints of someone with shoes on. It went across the roof maybe about four or five steps then disappeared. I told my friend and pointed at the roof and told him to look, he said he saw nothing. It creeps me out thinking about it.

How could it be a halloween prank when it happened right in front of me, no one on the roof and no sound?

No way it could be my friend, he is five years younger then me and almost a foot shorter. Not just that, he was outside with me when we where about to leave.

It would be harder to explain if both you and your friend saw it.

Seems like something off of a scooby doo cartoon to me!

To be clear, did the footprints appear to you "one by one," as if you were watching an invisible person walking across the roof? Or did you see a line of green footprints already in place?
I'm wondering if it's possible your friend's dad had put the green footprints on their roof for Halloween. I'm thinking about last Halloween when a neighbor of mine had a big blow-up green Grinch-looking monster on his roof. You know, more and more, people enjoy decorating their homes with scarry things for Halloween. Not trying to discount what you saw. Just a thought.

Grrr you took my questions and answers! Well, you know what they say, great minds think alike! ^.^
Anyway, Banana, these are my thoughts, too. Did they just sorta appear as if you were watching someone make them or were they already there? And there is a possibility that your friend's family could have done it to scare either him or you or both.

I get it now. Ooh... it's just flat-out weird... Maybe it was the Green Goblin? (Geez, where's Spider-Man when you need him?!!)
Seriously, I don't haven the "sleightest" (hah-hah) idea what that could've been. It sounds too sophisticated to be any sort of Halloween trick.
What was the neighborhood like? Was it totally dark? Or were there lots of lights in the area? Were any moving cars nearby? (I have to ask... were any kids carrying green glowsticks??) Just wondering if it could've been the reflection of a nearby light source. But I'm sure you've already discounted this, or you wouldn't be asking here.
Sounds like one of those things that makes ya go "hmmmm." (or WhatTha?)

im not ruling this out as anything, could have been something paranormal or anything else, what it makes me think tho
is I used to have one of those lazer pointers the little things that shoot a lazer n we had a reallly strong one which was still clear very far away (very far away theyre now illegal here to have ones that went that far)n with this one you could put little things on the ends which would cause the lazer to shoot in shapes,
thats one possibility tho it seems a bit unlikely i have no idea what it could have been but it does seem odd it to happen halloween with all those pranks that go on

If you had not had witnessed it happen in front of your own eye's, I would have gone with the prank theory.. I have no idea what it could have been and have to accept what you physically witnessed... very intriguing indeed.

i'm not ruling out anything either, just throwing out there that it reminds me of this one halloween when i was a kid and my dad had gotten this weird glow-in-the-dark green goo stuff, but didn't tell us and put prints all over our front yard and when we were all in the living room told us to 'look outside! what on earth is that?!' lol. he got us! we were all excited there was something outside trialing green goo and shouting and 'omg what is it?!' lol.
eventually he admitted his crime
anydoodles, just thinking, i remember my dad revealing that the stuff didn't glow right away, you had to wait, so thats when he told us to look out...so maybe someone put up some kind of similar goo stuff that eventually glows, and then fades again?? and you just caught it in time?? just a thought...just cos it sounds so much like what my dad used.
and have you definitely ruled out any projections from across the way or anything from someone's decorations?
