Star Wars Directed-Energy Weapons (DEW)

Well, I dunno...
Lord Umbarger
D.E.W. have for a long time been a working theory. In the early 1990's, Popular Science ran an article about a chemical lasar that was to be based on a Bowing 747 platform and used to shoot down missiles immediately after launch. Although there were few details about the effectiveness of these new arms, they were deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedon in 2003. The U.S. DoD has never issued a statement on rather they were actually used or not but many suspect that they had and with impressive results.

As far as using lasars against target such as buildings, they woul not be very effective because they are basically the heat rays of yore and work by heating a rockets fuel to the spontanious combustion point whereas a concrete and steel building would not contain any explosive fuels.

That's all I have hat I can add. Hope it helps or at least fires up a conversation!

That pole was made of steel. It did not blow up or bend, it disintergrated. I remember the Hutchinson effect experiments. What are we worried about nukes for if we got invisible beam weapons that don't just take out planes but whole buildings as well. So the story on Korea with a heat ray last year is possible true.

That's it, the pics remind me of that Tom cruise War of the Worlds heat ray, but very big and very powerful. I am sure the US navy cannot afford that much power and knowhow. At last this 911 caper is worth reading about. Unless the pic is doctored?
Lord Umbarger
To me, the arial in the pictures seems to be falling nearly straight down and leaving a cloud of dust in the air behind it as it goes. I'm not about to rule out some kind of new "super-weapon" but, I'm just not convinced that is what I'm seeing here.

I can't think of an DEW that would have that kind of effct on solid matter.

By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what nation are you from? You don't read like an American, Brit, or Ozzy. Just curious.
JET SAVAGE
I just remembered, it was around 200 AD...OK no, I'm not quite that old. It was around 2000AD, when I had a lot of visions, one vision I saw a was of the houses of parliament, disentegrating into dust. i can still remember how weird it fell, so much dust that the river Thames was foggy of dust. Just like this picture of NYC.

Thing is, the vision I had in December 1999 showed me no machines destroying that building and St Pauls Cathedral, but a bunch of college student type phychics were doing it with their focus like in some movie. I remember asking myself, how do people turn concrete metal and clay into dust. Weird vision huh? I have never seen or even thought of the idea until that vision.

Me, I write different all the time. Don't worry about it.

the gif looks as if it could easily have been either thermate or a cutting charge causing the spire to fall straight down very quickly similar to bldg 7 leaving a trail of dust and fine particulate that had gathered on the spire before the failure at the base-- it seems a bit pyroclastic at the bottom but is really not conclusive

that would be the Airborne Laser project.

But I doubt that it was deployed during OIF in 2003 as they only have a single prototype right now and it has yet to make an airborne test fire. The program has been plagued by budget cuts and threatened with cancelation as many in the DOD feel that the system is too expensive especially when compared to mobile ground based systems that can do the same job.

The spire didn't disintigrate, it fell straight down leaving behind a trail of dust that had settled on it earlier in the collapse. This is very easy to see if you watch the actual video and not crappy animated gifs on the web.

I'll have to defer to you on this one. I'm afraid that other than a few scattered comments here and there, I really haven't made much of an effort to keep up with it.
JET SAVAGE
Even with the crappy gif, common sense tells me that the collapsing building would not have settled that much dust on an upright metal spire that quickly, unless this is tower 2 falling and tower one had already settled that much dust.

To me, the images look doctored, probably because I am not familiar with every day beam technology on that massive scale. Though the numerous ufo hoax videos and many ufo witness accounts could be linked, beyond our reasoning even. But I have seen this technology before, My brother ranted for weeks with a purple head when the secret services removed a beam weapon video from his desktop and this forum. The shot was so cool, it actually freaked me out how metal turned to paper on a US Air orce vehicle. Totally insane video footage.

These frequency weapons and laser dudes are quite fascinating. I wish they sold em at Macey's. Anything to freak the neighbours. All of them at oce, the whole bloody block bleeding at the nose huh?

Maybe we should bring back the tin foil hat. I can imaging that joke will be hard to SWALLOW years down the line.
