This is a very long story, so i'll just have to hit on most
important parts. Aug, 1990 I was not a christian. I was what
one could call a functional alcoholic. I had grown up with a violent alcoholic
father and insane mother. My story is posted on several child abuse websites.
I was sitting in a car with a friend, drinking talking when the most horrible smell
begin to come in the car. Rubber , sulfer, something burning. At that moment
two demon spirits had entered my body. My drinking buddy had smelled it, but
they had left him alone.
The next day I begin to have visual and audio hallunciations. Voices told me I needed
to run. people were going to kill me. As I drove to work to a part time job I worked on
weekends I would see people standing beside the road waving knives at me. When I got
there, where only me and one other person worked, I started to tell my co worker something
weird was happening to me. The phone rang. It was the supervisor. She said her phone rang and something
told her something was wrong with me, she was coming in and let me go home. This was the lord
stepping in, for a power fell on me going up the road, for the demons had came to kill me.
Finally getting home the vioces started again. I begin to see people peeping in my window with
meancing looks. Run they said, for they are going to kill you. Then I had a feeling to call some
christian people who always wanted to get me to go to church. They told me,"we are on the way to
get you for the lord has already told us you are demon possessed .
At church they baptised me , I repented of my sins. They took me into a small room and sat me
into a chair. An elder lady of the church then came in and said the greatest praise to give god is say
halalulla. "Say it and don't stop"! she said. After saying it for about a minute it felt like a mule
kicked me in the chest. I was now laying on my back in the floor as the demons spoke"woman
we could come out of him and kill you right now". "Keep praising god she screamed"!. All of a sudden,
it felt like a truck ran over my chest. My head flew back and the first demon tore out of me, then 60
sec later it felt like the truck ran over my chest again as the second demon tore out of me, along with
that horrible burning sulfer smell followered them. A minute or so later I begin to speak in tounges.
The elder lady, we all call mother who is also a pastor, opened the door and yelled out, " I think
he is going to be ok, for he is speaking in tounges. The lord has sent the holy ghost.
They gave me a bible, took me home. But it was not over, for as I flipped through the pages, I noticed
some passages glowing. Was the lord trying to tell me something?

First off I would like to say that putting the title of this thread in all caps was a bad idea. It makes it seem like you are yelling or screaming and it isn't very friendly on the eyes.

Second off...could this experience just maybe kind of have to do something with your drinking problem?

Paranoia and hallucinations....I have no idea what could be the cause of that. I mean I can't think of any substance or circumstances that could cause those effects.

And for the record God was trying to tell you to stop abusing alcohol and any other substances you may or may not be using.

After the demons were cast out of me, I was flipping through
the bible as a paragraph in the book of revelations begin to
glow like a red stop light. To the church of Smyrna "satan will
cast some of you into prision, to be tried, and you will suffer
tribulations for ten days, but fear not".
Within an hour I begin to shake all over as if I had been
tossed into a lake of ice water. So bad I could barely talk.
A friend and his wife finally took me to a mental hosp.
I was shaking so bad I had to be held down. After about two days
the shaking stopped. I had a roommate who was going through the
same thing. He said he had been passing out tracks for his church
when a man walked up and stuck a gun to his head. A voice came out
of no where and said,"put the gun down". He said people begin to turn
against him. I was told by the staff I would be there ten days. Just like
the lord said. I learned not to talk much, for if I did other patients would go
into rages and had to be restraned . I won't go into all the things I went through,
but a good way to describe would be pure hell.
On the tenth day Things got better. I saw the other guy being let out. We waved at each
other. "And Satan Will Cast some of you into prision, to be tried, and you will suffer
tribulation for ten days". It was the tenth day.
This was the time I totally accepted jesus as my lord and savior and knew he held the keys
to heaven and hell.

Why did you feel the need to make two threads instead of two posts in the already existing thread?

Jesus just told me that your two threads should be combined into one so as to not lose the flow.

Merged these two together, removed the all caps from the title and moved to the sightings and experiences section.

Anyone get the feeling this guy is selling a screenplay? Maybe a short story for a religious magazine?

O I just figured everything out about the two different threads. I've been going back and forth trying to figure out what is going on. It is now that I realize that the threads have been merged like suggested and then moved as ordered.

How did you know that it was God and Jesus and not Adam and Eve?

this leads me to almost discredit the person's story for doing so

The pastor who we call mother has her own radio show. She has invited
me on three times to talk about what happened. I am a lab tech and went back to school
to get my Lpn. I work full time at a hospital and part time at a state run mental institution.
I study and write articles about bible prophercy. The lady pastor said I wasn't the first
person she cast demons out of. I admire her fortitude , for she is 70 years old.

The movie "The Exorcist" is supposed to be based on a true incident involving a little boy who became possessed and was exorcised.

So you are convinced that you were once possessed by a demon?

To me, that's the most frightening thing to consider... that demon(s) can simply possess someone. You can't run. You can't hide. You are at its mercy. Did I say mercy? Hah-hah... What demon in its right mind would show mercy??

If you don't mind my saying so, it sounds like you are now a religious fanatic. Would you agree?

My bus driver (don't laugh) once believed that he was being followed by Demons. He wouldn't eat anything apart from apples, as other food was oisoned, and only drink tap water (why the supply wasn't poisoned, even he doesn't know). He was cured after a 4 month stay in a mental hospital. No-one knows what caused it, but if it happens to him for no apparent reason, it might be easier for it to happen to a heavy drinker. Just my 2p.

Might have been a mild form of something like what he had, I think he could see them as well.

Anything that prevents alchohol abuse is marginally good, I guess. But the idea of people being cured of their vices by exorcism makes me a bit uneasy. It reminds me of a scene in "Oranges are not the only fruit" where they tried to cure the protagonist's sexuality that way.



That's strange, most people think the tap water *is* poisoned. You just need to taste the tap water in many locales ...
