Roadkill art for sale

A Gloucestershire artist is selling a squashed hare and fox in a frame for £35,000.

Adam Morrigan, 38, from Horsley, scraped the animals off the road, skinned them and then displayed them in a frame.

He skins the animals and, depending on what he has found, eats the flesh, before using their hides for his sculptures.

"I myself eat the road kill. Badger tastes like pork, and squirrel is quite nutty. We're told these things are not edible because we're conditioned to think of them as vermin."

He says his two sons, aged eight and 12, and seven year-old daughter - who are all vegetarians - love his work.
