All dressed up

A Kenyan air passenger was caught wearing more than 100 items of clothing on a flight home from China.

The man was stopped at the security counter of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, reports Information Times.

An airport spokesman said: "He was wearing a really thick suit on this hot summer day, and we were surprised when he opened it."

The man was wearing more than 100 items of men's and women's clothing packed around his body.

He told officials that he was wearing the clothes because he was worried about being charged for carrying excess luggage.

The man confessed that he had bought a lot of clothes in China for resale in Kenya, and to save the excess-luggage fee, came up with the idea of wearing them.

The airport released the passenger without asking him to pay.
