~The Passion of the Christ.

What TV program, film, book and/or music hasn't made me cry? LOL! Actually, Without a Trace is a horrible show for me crying, I have never watched an episode yet that I didn't cry at the end. Titanic, The Notebook, Return of the King......unless it is a horror, I will cry at the sad parts. I just about always cry when I read novels, because someone always dies or has some heartwrenching thing happen to them. And Nadia's Theme always gets me, especially after watching her bio.

when Flint died in the Dragonlance series I was bawling

been a few different things but that's the only one can remember atm

when ppl do the right thing and are slammed for it but come out on top it'll make me cry at their victory moment, there's been a few movies do that to me

almost cried when that curly headed kid's dad found him in the patriot
Lotus Flower
The film "The Colour Purple" made me weep.
Anukis
Mah.. alot of films actually makes me cry, im very emotional to visuals. I'll cry whenever there is some animal cruelty involved. The film that made me cry the most actually was the passion of the christ, cause it was too much torturing. Another one was A.I the lil robot boy wanting so bad to be loved...anyway its a long list lol rolleyes.gif

as for music it only makes me cry if i already have some sad feelings going on like anger, nostalgy or grief...so some music would help me to vent out kinda.

as for books none of them made me cry yet.

I hardly ever cry as such, so the waterworks come on for all & nothing. Even commercials can make me gulp if I'm in the right mood! blush.gif

Waterworks Classics:

- The demise of Thelma & Louise

- When Ripley falls into the boiling cauldron thingy

- The end of Ben Hur

- Scorsese's Dracula: When Winona has to chop off Gary Oldman's head & he's finally delivered:" It...is....finishhhhhed...!"

- "Au revoir les enfants"

- "The Piano"

- When they kill King Kong, Godzilla, Frankenstein....oh yeah, I always root for the monster!

-When they're all being mean to Dumbo...

*sigh* I'm a big blouse, really...
Mad Manfred
First ones that come to mind are...

The end of American History X (just so senseless and tragic)

The end of Serenity (it was a real ending...a farewell to one of the greatest sci-fi shows released)

The end of Serenity (it was a real ending...a farewell to one of the greatest sci-fi shows released)

And here I was thinking that I was thinking that I was the only one...

As far as movies goes, a few that pop are :

a ) Dumbo (especially that "never a tear" song)
b ) The Rugrats Movie (Again, that silly song when it is raining. Don't laugh; its not that funny)
c )Children Of Men (When they are walking out with the baby amongst all the bombings)
d )Crash (Right at the very end; of the impact of the film)

As far as books go

a ) Have you Seen My Mother (That Sr. Zeuss one)
b )Have you Seen my Mummy (A different one, where baby goes out in search of his mummy)
c )Noughts and Crosses (Right at the very end again, at the hanging)

For songs:

I unfortunantley cry whenever I hear a song that reminds me of a certain ex. Well, cry or break things.
Celumnaz
Thought of a song that's made me cry... "Someday Never Comes" by CCR
StarMountainKid
Some of the movies already listed here. Especially ET at the end. The book, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery. TV, I can't recall anything.

~The Passion of the Christ.

that movie only made me very uncomfortable.
everyone was crying, except me.

"The Fox & the Hound" was the first movie to make me cry.
the ending of "Big Fish" made me sob like a child.

Alexander the Burn Victim by scarling. makes me cry almost everytime i hear it.
can't listen to it on a bad day, that's for sure.

as for books.. none have made me cry.
they barely even stir my imagination.
glynne64
UGH! What ones haven't made me cry? Almost anything can make me misty-eyed. I'll give a few instances...

"I Turn To You" by Christina Aguilera. It came out right when my dad died. It said all I couldn't say to him. crying.gif

Sample lyric:
I turn to you.
For the strength to be strong;
For the will to carry on;
For everything you do;
For everything that's true...

"Remember the Titans"---makes me cry everytime I've seen it. It was on tv just last night &, yup, I cried again.
"Brian's Song"---The original with James Caan & Billy Dee Williams
"Dead Poet's Society"---"Oh, captain, my captain."

There's a lot more, but this will do for now. I'm wiping tears away just thining about them. Time go watch or listen to something funny! Laters!
cloud0729
Pursuit of Happyness and Old Yeller made me cry. I don't care what anyone else says, those were some emotional rollercoaster rides original.gif
MissMelsWell
I'm not prone to crying at much.

I can't think of a single movie that ever made me cry.

Those damn "Baby Story" shows on Oxygen or whatever always make me a little misty... I tend to avoid them if I can.

But... there are two books that made me cry like a baby:

Where the Red Fern Grows

and

Cold Sassy Tree by Olive Ann Burns (one of my all time favorite books)

I can't think of any song that ever made me cry.... wait, I can think of one. Little Miss Magic by Jimmy Buffet... I cried because my father wouldn't stop crying at that song when we saw Jimmy Buffet together live. Poor daddy has a wife, 2 daughters and 3 granddaughters... there are no boys in that poor man's life. hahaha.

This was the only recording of the song I could find: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIfrWKBG72c
Lt_Ripley
I'm with you Glynne - it's easier to list what hasn't made me cry. I've read posts here which have made me misty.

I have to admit when I saw Titanic in the theater I cried streams. my girlfriend didn't cry at all.

the movie the Magdelene Sisters. that was a weeper.

the following Striesand songs - Memory ( from cats) , Somewhere - both played at family funerals. ( I'm misty now)

here is striesand singing Somewhere - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJpJDWr7m7U

and for Memory - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJaVXkBfroI

Mm, it's a great ending for a film though, one of the most impressive films I have ever seen.

Ugh, I'm such a baby. Never cried over a book I don't think.

Movies:
What Dreams May Come - Choosing to leave Heaven to be reincarnated to experience their love all over again. Just brilliant lol.

Fahrenheit 9/11 - I actually saw the movie with several war veterans, hearing them weep made me cry painfully. One of the parts that stick out in my mind the most is when the mother from Flint, Michigan talks about her son's death in Iraq.

Persuite of happyness - It was so humbling to see someone struggle so much to achieve their dream.

Brokeback Mountain - At the end when Ennis found Jack had put their shirts together in his closet and he started crying.

There are a few more but I can't think at the moment.
Pelican_Eel
it was a movie about a man reincarnated to a dog...called "flack" or "fluck"... I saw it when I was little, it seemed sooo sad.
Music - "I am the walrus " by Beatles. cruel nosthalgia, I guess...
And one Lithuanian musical, which you won't know... called "in chase of fire"... aaah...
