he claims it was a mercy killing but al capone has shown his worst enemies a lot more mercy then that. the judge says hes no danger to society, and thats reason to release him? of course not he should die in prison like any other murderer.
my gut feeling tells me it was just mad rage.

What if he suffers " from an excess of calcium in the blood which could have caused problems with his mental state" again?

The least the judge could do is give him some pshychiatric help while in custody and make sure his "problems with mental state" will not recurr before he let the old man go.

P.S I was yelling for my husband to "make the pain go away" while deliverin my baby too.
