THINGS TO REMEMBER WHEN CONSULTING A PSYCHIC

Don't consult the Psychic hotlines advertised in phone books, magazines and other places. These people have scripts which they work from and are in no way psychic. It is a complete waste of money.

Try to get a Psychic who comes highly recommended from someone else.

Be highly skeptical and be sure to not wear any jewellry whatsoever or tell any type of personal details up front. If you wish for a reading on some jewelry it's best not to wear it but carry it in your pocket and hand it to the psychic.

Try not to react to anything the psychic says to you. A straight yes or no answer should be sufficient to keep them guessing. Always remember that body language will give your family history, your lifestyle and almost anything about you away and if the psychic is not genuine they will easily pick up on this and keep feeding you lies. Keep still and watch what your eyebrows are doing.

Be wary of giving large amounts of money. You should only have to pay for one sitting, usually between AUD$45.00 - AUD$75.00 (they can get a little expensive now) for approximately 1 - 2 hours.

If the psychic advises that you return for any type of further reading, spell casting, curse detection or eradication do not return back as this is usually a trick to get more money.

No self respecting psychic would tell a client bad news, if you have been advised of death or any extreme bad news leave the sitting immediately and do not return.

I find this interesting, if this is so than I can't see much purpose in going to a psychic if you believe in them.

I concur Affliction. While I can understand the warning about spell casting and curse detection (cold casting techniques), the ‘warning’ about “bad news” is absurd.

I used to be a public psychic and have worked in metaphysical bookstores. The biggest problem the honest psychic has is the client’s refusal to accept anything other than good news. Why a client would not want to know about health problems, for instance, that can be solved or minimized is beyond me.

The psychic market is flooded with “love and light psychics” who always tell the client exactly what she wants to hear. This has always amazed me, since the client could get the same thing from her friends for free.

Better to take the good with the bad and be prepared.

I think the whole bad news thing was mentioned was because if womeone truly believed in the bad, could they not actually bring that prediction true?

Interesting. I don't need one. I am my own.

Im a psychic and i know that if I'm giving a reading to someone and if i dont give them all the information and hold back on some things that i end up very very drained or sick.
And thats even if i protect myself which i do for every reading.
My spirit guides talk to the person who is getting the reading to their spirit guides so i can give them the information they need to know and that is not nessasary information they came for but eventually it will lead back to that question in the long run.
I like to think of myself as a spiritual adviser cos thats all I'm doing just advising and i only charge about $30 aussie dollars but sometimes people like me so much they give me more.

Psychic, smychic, too plethoric.

I tire so easily of someone that refuses anything but concrete, only to whip out a pack of Tarot cards and scatter some left over chicken innards to try and foretell.

Everyone slams at Deja Vu, and it's implications. Everyone haints at seers. Anyone capable of prediction analysis is a phee-ony.

My turn: Dear Madam Swami,
Take your Crystal Ball, and try to figure out where my mind is placing it...
