Once in a place called Carmel valley there was a boy just in the 5th grade who was an outcast at school. The boy we will call Erik meet a kid named Ben (Im going to cut to the chase and skip some of the details) and the two were inseparable. The two went to middle school together and were close friends until about halfway through the 7th grade then Erik meet a kid named Larry the two had much in common (Both were deadbeats bad at school and liked pissing people off) Soon Erik ditched Ben for Larry. Soon the end of the 7th grade was coming and then summer came. Erik entered the 8th grade and was reunited with his friend Larry. He had met these people called emos. Who where depressed weirdo’s. About halfway through the year Larry and Erik’s friend ship was at an all-time high this lasted a short time. These emos where changing Larry and turning him against his friend Erik. At the beginning of the last month of school Larry met a girl in the emo group and the two were together. It didn’t lake long Larry’s relationship to go strait to his head. (And by that I mean he thought he was better that Erik)Soon the end of the year came and Larry and Erik were out of school. The two shared one last day together. As good friends it was more bittersweet that ever. Then for unknown reasons Larry started acting weird and controlling. Soon Erik and Larry became enemies. Soon Erik moved away to Bonita. Based with the sorrow of losing he best friend and the move and brain chemistry Erik fell into a depression. And was regretful that he had meet Larry. He was repetitively telling him self that he should have stayed with Ben.

(Also a Mayer detail I left out) On that last three days of school Wednesday Thursday and Friday. Erik and Ben shared some moments. Ex Wednesday On that Disneyland trip Erik and bed found each other in line and spent the day together. Thursday School dance Erik and Ben found each other and practiced there Kung fu moves and spent the night together and Erik danced with a girl. After the dance was over Erik felt the bittersweet pleasure. Friday last day of school Erik and be spent the day together at the graduation ceremony.

Some people may interpret this as a coincidence but I have had run-ins with this type of thing through out my life I thing some one was punishing me for my insolence. These are the inevitable forces that we are force to ponder.

WTF?! hmm.gif

So this is a paranormal sighting, report or experience...
Threepwud
Saying how when things are turning out for the worst something really extraordinary happens at just the right time and this happens a lot (I know this happens also).

So I think megashredder was wondering whether these are just great coincidences or perhaps a more form of divine intervention or something... original.gif

I think I grasp the concept of coincidence here. But what are depressed weirdos called emos?

Emos ARE depressed weirdos. That's the definition right there. yes.gif

Take a look at the diagram I have provided. (I apologise by the crappy quality due to stupid jpeg compression):Click to view attachment

And as far as these coincidences are concerned. IMHO they are just coincidences. I think with the way our brains work, you tend to remember particularly positive or negative coincidences a lot more than incidental ones. So you think they occur more often.

So, emos are simply teenage punks, or hoodlums?

Um. Not really. They are a sub-culture. Like punks, goths, surfies, stoners etc.

Once in a place called Carmel valley ...

Was there a moral to this story? As described, I don't see anything paranormal or divine intervention. Just human nature. Unless the emos were brainwashing new recruits with their diabolical indy/college bands original.gif

Well there isn’t a moral to the story. It just seems ironic. And theses types of this have happened to me before. Ex I was criticizing my mom for her acne (and not jokingly. To hurt her) and my face filled with zits. Or the time I harassed the adhd kid in the school like the time we were standing in line and I was saying that I was better that him in math running and a better artist. And then he said “Mr. Jones Erik’s insulting me”. Forrest (his name) since he was the adhd kid and the teacher knew he was a trouble maker. And adhd kids do not get the benefit of the doubt. Any way the teacher said. Forrest if you don’t stop interrupting the class I’m going to call your parents. And then he maid him apologize to me. And I was insulting him. Any way right now I’m getting harassed by a guy named Kevin Jackson. So you get the point.

Sort of like "what comes around goes around?"
