Hey guys,
Just wanted to hear any thoughts or reviews on this movie.I believe it opens this weekend. I thought the first one was a major letdown, but i have to admit this one looks like it might be pretty good. Oh yeah and if you did see it, any good previews ?

I haven't seen the whole thing but I work at a movie theater and have caught parts of it. It seems better then the first one but that isn't saying much.

Jessica Alba literally looks like one of the Wayans brother's from the movie White Chicks...her hair looks terrible, she has the wierdest looking blue contacts, and it looks like they bleached her skin.

Fans of the comic books will be disappointed thats for sure.

I saw it last night. It's definately a step up on the first but it's still a bit hit and miss.

Tim Story improved on his directing imo.. The Surfer himself was awesome and Laurance Fishburnes voice went well. I think they played the parts alright again and Chris Evans as Johnny nailed it again. The arrival on the Surfer and Johnny chasing him down was cool. The action there was was good. The effects were good (especially on the Surfer) except for a couple parts where Reed stretches, [spoiler]mostly his dancing in the club. [/spoiler] I think overall that I would say it's an enjoyable flick, maybe save it for a rental but enjoyable none the less.. There are some things though;

I think the story overall was alright and I don't know if this ever happened in the comics like it did in the movie but I didn't like how [spoiler]the F4 was changing powers with Johnny and I also didn't like how Doom gained the Surfers powers. This was obviously done because they wanted to save Galactus for the Surfer movie and was an attempt to make him the 'main baddie' but Doom can stand on his own as the major villain without doing what they did..[/spoiler]

The tone is right, the characters are there, I think they just need to get the right story and stop with the childish humour (ie. a burping Thing)

I saw it a few days ago.The best part was without a doubt the surfer, he was awesome. But I had two major problems with it. One was the same as TheCrow, I couldn't stand the part where mr. fantastic was streching in the club....stupid...the whole club scene was. My second and biggest is Galactus. Im a die hard Marvel Comic Fan,And I was really excited about seeing him. Hes supposed to be A huge gint human in blue and purple armor. But in this movie,Hes just a big cloud of energy flying around space. That was a big let down.

I knew going into the movie that Galactus was going to be a cloud(its in the trailer after all) but I was expecting the cloud to be somehow controlled by the real galactus(maybe not a giant purple guy but at least some sort of sentient version of Galactus).

I found out that the "cloud Galactus'' doesn't actually go against the comics...Galactus doesn't have just one form and appears differently to different species.
Humans see him as the giant purple guy but he can be anything.

Ive still not seen the first Fantastic Four film but I saw this trailer for this one and it didnt look too bad a film, I dont mind films like this but like someones mentioned I find the immature lame comedy they try to add a little tedious. However the main reason Im replying is because I was in London this past weekend and they had a cool picture of the Silver Surfer stretched over it. I think my mate has a picture of it that I can steal and show you all. It was really wicked.

I saw it and it was like PWNAGE on the big screen!

As if (!) the human torch would have been able to catch up with Silver Surfer though!

I was highly disapointed

this as the first movie was just a big piece of cgi crap sorry but i thought the second one would make up for the first, it didn't god awful movie and a raping of my childhood

I seen this movie and was dissapointed... If you really want to see this movie by all means but if your not in a big rush just wait until this is available for rental at your local video store.

havent seen it and dont plan to until its on dvd so i can HIRE it lol i aint buying stuffa s bad as this

I thought it was fun...something I'd watch only once...or twice if I was bored.

Easy to understand plot, lots of bangs and plenty of CGI eye candy. So leave your brains at the door and don't take this too seriously.

(the dance scene with Mr. Fantastic was a bit stupid, however. What was the music in the background, btw?)

Absolute dross. Even my kids thought it was terrible and boring as well and they liked the first one. Wasted an evening of my life watching this rubbish and cannot recover that. Even worse than the Hulk and that took some doing!!!!

At least this movie was better than the first one, the first one blew.
