Hello everyone! I created this thread because, I have a great interest in automotive.
I've been working on vehicle's most of my life! mainly general maintanance like oil changes, tune up's, Etc.
I have done a bit of mechanical work as well.

My favorite vehicle make is GMC "General Motors Corporation"!
I have a 98 GMC Jimmy SLT 4x4 SUV...
Here are a few pics.!

Anyway, I put this thread up for anyone who likes to talk about cars, trucks, SUV's, Etc.
And if anyone has any questions about automotive in general, I will be more than glad to help
with the best of my knowledge on this subject...

You must be talking about the Lamborghini Diablo V2! Yes, it's a V12 monster. with a 6.5L 12 cylinder and,
right at 600bhp yes its a rocket.

I'm also a fan of the shelby GT500 very nice car.
Moro
My favorite supercar has to be the Bugatti Veyron!

It's an 8.0 liter Quad-turbocharged W16 with 1000+ horsepower! It can exceed 250mph.

SG Wolf 222
hey that last mustang is a 70's Boss looks like a 302...isnt that Lambo a Diablo?
SG Wolf 222
ah yes the Bugati i beleave it goes around 253-258...uses so mutch stuff and only gets 1000hp

although there is another car that uses almost the same stuff exept only a V12
the Chrysler ME-412 HEMI (seems like the First Chrysler super car lol)
uses a V12 Quad Turbo Hemispheric Combustion Engine(aka HEMI)
has 850 Brake Horse Power(aka BHP)
0-60 2.9 seconds
and goes only 248 mph(Miles Per Hour) not sure what that is in Km/h(kilometer per hour)

linked-image

linked-image

linked-image

but there is somthing faster its also by Mopar

the Dodge Hennessey Viper 1000TT Venom SRT10 HEMI mopars fastest car

uses only a V10 Twin Turbo HEMI
1000 BHP
0-60 in 2.9 seconds as well
baby tops out at 255mph

linked-image
SG Wolf 222
my bad the Bugati gets 1001 bhp
REBEL
Yea Wolfie, i love the front end & the bonnet scoop set up on the 70 Mustang looks a little like the head of a white pointer shark.
The ''66-69'' are just my numero uno choices in the Stang range.

That Diablo devil.gif must be the Italians contribution to anti-gravity propulsion technology. ROFL!!!

Heres the VT Diablo devil.gif

At the time and for many years it remained the fastest 4 door ever built. This baby is a GENUINE LEGEND of motor sport racing in Australia.
What it dosn't state in the specs is that they only ever built a few thousand of the GT & GT-HO range...hence the price tag for them now.

Well as some of you know I'm a bit of a car enthusiast myself. I own a 1962 Corvette and a 1980 Mercedes Coupe. Both of which I have restored myself.

I have also recentally purchased an old HQ Monaro which I plan to restore to its former glory.

I don't have a camera at the moment but this is pretty close to my Vette.

I'm a big fan of classic cars, I used to own a 1970 AMC Javelin! But, I sold it for $5,500 15 years ago.

The standard 1970 Javelin engine was the 6 cylinder 232. The major change in the V8 engines was the dogleg head design. During Trans-Am teting and racing, AMC engineers determined that about 50% more volume of air could be forced through the heads under extreme racing conditions, if the exhaust port on the heads were L shaped instead of square shaped. A running production change for the 1970 AMC engines was the inclusion of a new cam, nicknamed the "white stripe". Insurance price hikes were hurting the sales of pony cars and muscle cars at this time, so AMC did not raise the advertised horsepower by much with the new cam, but in reality the performance was greatly increased after this change.

The Donohue Javelin had a redesigned 360 engine. The engine block had thicker webbing to allow four bolt mains, and could be more easily bored out. The engine was designed for street racing and did well, but the bigger diameter two bolt system worked better for drag racing where the RPM's were a lot higher.

Hey Tommy, those GT looks RED HOT!!!...just hope they don't build to many of them or they run the risk of devaluing it later down the track, like they almost did over here with the Falcon GTs & Monaros because the demand was so great...

Yeah, It's kind of like the new fordGT! It has a 5.4 liter supercharged V8 550hp supercar!

It's way to over-rated for a street legal supercar with a price tag exceeding $155,000.

But it was a 'XY GT Shaker' not a 'XY GT-HO' Shaker, massive difference in 'running gear' and (''handling options'' HO), otherwise i could have had an early retirement...and don't worry there are days where i bang my head against the wall for ever parting with it.
