Hi all I was just wondering does anyone else remember this movie? it goes by other names depending on the country you're from though. In australia it's Frog Dreaming, the US The Quest in UK the Go kids. Anyways it's about aboriginal myths and legends. The first time I saw this was about 20 some years ago in the 80s and it's about this kid I don't remember his name but its the boy from E.T he moves to australia to live with some family and discovers a big pond that may or may not have some kind of water monster living in it. I loved it when I was a kid because it fueled my imagination and it was also around this time I started buying books about lake monsters and hidden creatures. Very hard movie to track down because it isn't available on DVD or VHS anymore but it is well worth it to find this movie. It's a great cult classic and very well made with a few creepy scenes in it.

Never heard of it. I do remember a movie called something like Pellican Boy or something. We were forced to watch it at school. It was lost on me. I found it boring. sad.gif

yes that is the movie I am talking about! it used to pop up frequently on HBO and disney in the 80s but it seems to have dissapeared into obscurity. But it can be found. It's still a great movie after all these years!
