Ok so the other night me and my girlfriend were laying on a playground watching stars when i saw this orange orb on the horizon, at first i thought "o its just a plane" but it wasn't blinking nor did it have red or blue lights. we tracked it accross the sky. it changed color from orange to white, we were freaking out. it then changed directions and went behind a tree. i walked to the other side and it was gone. we both were amazed. then about a minute later we saw another orb, this time it was blinking. it was not a plane because it crossed paths with a plane and planes dont get that close together. it kept changing directions and we lost it behind a tree. though out that night we saw a total of 5 of these. one went stright accross the sky and faded away then came back again, it did this like 6 times.
then earlier tonight we were laying on my drive way and she pointed out 2 orbs coming at us, the 2 orbs were going the exact same speed and stayed the same distance apart in a straight line. she ran inside to get our friends so they would belive us. the second they came out the 2 orbs fadded away right in the middle of the sky. we sat there for about an hour and saw a total of 10 of these orbs

these orbs were not satelites or shooting stars because they changed direction and speed

can anyone explain this or have seen this too?

sounds like a random UFO.....

Actually your description of "orbs" is pretty vague.

I suspect that many of these 'orbs' you saw on this night were likely satellites, aircraft, and Stars. Your description is simply too vague to distinguish between the normal and the potentially rare. I mean no offense, but if you look at a Star long enough it will appear to change directions and disappear behind trees.

So I'd suggest that the next time you watch the Stars that you should pay more attention to the details and that will help in ID'ing anything you see. More often than not that will be things like satellites, aircraft, and Stars.

they are not stars, they move all the way accross the sky. not satelites because they fade away in plain view. plus my grandpa worked for lockeed and every time i said something about satilites moving across the sky he'd reply "satelites dont move across the sky they stay stationary. coming from a lockeed martin employee i belive that. does that clarify?

Only Satellites in very specific orbits are stationary. Goesynchronous Orbit for example. Other more 'shallow' orbits especially in LEO result in observations of bright objects speeding across the sky.

Sorry, that is one of the worst 'facts' I've yet read on this site...

There's a very good explanation of similar phenomena in the 'flying eyeballs' thread.
