Okay so I own a very old cassete that I got from my father and its in horrible condition. There is a song on it that I have loved for over 15 years and I could never figure out the name. I have recorded a part of the song with a mic on my computer. I am wondering if anyone has a web site for these things or if I could email it to someone who could listen to it and hazard a guess. I have tried many different ways to figure it out myself with no sucess.

Can you type out any of the lyrics? Sometimes Googling the lyrics will tell you who sang it and what the title are. Otherwise, post some of the lyrics here, and we will give it a try.

That seems to be exactly the problem. I can't seen to get the right lyrics because of the condition of the tape. I am wondering how I can upload the song somewhere for some of you to hear and maybe by the beat and the few parts that are clear, identify the song for me. UM only allows for attaching images and this is a .wav file.

I was more into music like Delerium, dead can dance , depeche mode , bjork and older popular Diva's and crooners.................. not too keen on classical either. Heavy metal would be my brother. Country would have been my brother who passed away.

I dont know if these are the exact links as this computer is at college and is blocking them, but its something along those lines so you can put files up and people can download them. Might be an easy way for us all to have a listen?

Im curious now, I probably would have never heard of it before but Im really intrigued to know what it could be because for some reasons its bugging me!

Okay guys.. I tried to google the lyrics to the best of my abilities and came up with absolutely nothing. The tape is in worse condition than it was last time I listened to it. I used someones advise and uploaded the good sample I have of recording the song a few months ago and its less than 20 seconds long.
