Spooks Apprentice
I live in a small home, in a small town, on a ranch. My house was actually buildt about 30 years ago, and the property was just land. My neighbor who lives about 100 yards away, lives in the house that was the only house near any sort of civilization for about 20 miles. A little while ago, I asked my dad what this place used to be, before the previous owner lived here, and he said it was just land, but after a while it was a turkey farm.
Anyway, I was sitting in my house with my sister, my mom and ny sister's boyfriend watching a horribly bad scary movie. I got this chill down my spine, even though was warm in my house, and I had a blanket rapped around me. I got this sudden urge to look behind me, and look at my couch. When I did, I saw this silhouette of a man with his right leg crossed over his left leg. I couldn't tell if he was smiling or not, but he was staring directly at me. I couldn't make out his face, but I could see that he was wearing a three peice brown suit, probably from the 1900s. That was about a year and a half ago. My aunt has seen a man or a ghost in my pasture, dressed in a brown outfit walking straight across, and then he dissapears. She thought he was an indian, because where I live there are a lot of indian spirits. When I told her the story, she then put two and two together, and said that this man must have been the man she saw. I've seen him once more after this, mostly on the couch, or in the doorway next to the couch. Also, my dogs regularly freak out and look at that direction for no reason. My other dog barks at nothing, and will run and hide.
My aunt has also seen him at Christmas time sitting on my couch. Well, at least I know I'm not completely crazy. Does anyone have any comments? Could this be the previous turkey farmer?

I guess my first questions would be:

(1) What did you feel when you witnessed the figure? What emotions or feelings did you have? Comfort, fear, foreboding, love?

(2) Have you checked to see if the clothing you saw the figure wearing is contemporary with the era that the turkey farmer had lived in?

P.S. regard (2) - you should sketch what you saw before you go looking and therefore you won't allow your initial sighting to get mingled with the stuff you look up... thumbsup.gif
