Camera strap in front of a lens would be my best guess. My worst guess would be ectoplasm.

Im 99.999999999999999% sure those are called vortexes. I've seen many pics of them. I believe they are a sub-groub of orbs. That is if it was in fact not the camera strap.

Maybe rods?

i have taken photos with the cam strap in them b4,you would be shoked how spookey it looks.try it and see if you get the same results.also,can we see thse pics plz?

It can also be hair or other such material (thread from clothing).

I suggest to anyone interested in ghosts to try for themselves to recreate these. Try hair, camera strap, thread, pins, anythign you can think of. Its good to have reference photos so you can become knowledgeable about camera flaws and also how digital cameras "see" things.

Its probably a ghost. Its called an orb but in this case it prefers to show itself as a rope than a ball of light.

It can easily be duplicated and thus explained by regular means. Nothing paranormal.
