I was just on an outing about three weeks ago in an area known as Patterson Road in katy, TX. I met with some people who feel that this place is experiencing a paranormal activity. I went to this area with that person plus a few more for the investigation. I was told that dark shadows were seen in the area running around during past visits. many members of the Investigation team were optimistic that evidence of the paranormal would be found. Upon arriving in this area, I noticed alot of wildlife were running around. I pointed out to the person who witnessed shadows that deers might be the culprits. I explained to him that deers are fast and elusive animals which could enter and leave in a flick of the second. I have hunted deers all my life and found that they can disappear and the only thing you see will be the shadows. I provided this team member my opinion and explaination as to what he saw that night.

I agree that the shadows were more than likely deer. There was a slight spike on the EMF meter on the bridge, but I don't think it was caused by anything paranormal. Nothing out of the ordinary came out in the pics and EVP that were taken. I'm not sure if I'd be willing to go back out to Patterson Rd. again. IMO, it is overhyped. However, we have gotten a couple of good EVPs and pics from the 1960 Overpass.

Jules, try both bridges. Also, the main rd entering the park that comes in through the Clay Rd side is called "War Memorial Drive". I am mentioning that because many people never knew that during the civil war era, the was a skirmish that took place here. The 2 bridges both fall onto that path, and that is why maybe poeple might think it is linked to some activities. Some say there was never a battle there. So why is the main rd called "War Memorial Drive"?

War Veterans probably named that road. I will check out again if I get the chance. I feel that 1960 might be worth the time since evidence was recently found.

Glad that is taken care of. Tonecop is a cool dude. And I have not seen you, Barek Halfhand, do anything out of line, so glad all is well. Thanks KiddGlock,

It won't probably be until Mid to end of February till we conduct the investigation. We need to first gather a group and start a meeting to see which portion of the task can each member contribute to the investigation. I will probably do another day time run within the next few days to see if anything has changed sicne my last visit.

In fact i think now my (confusing) reply was the result of me being excited about Mr tonecop.starting an organized investigation down south and wanted to invite him to visit my "fake but fun post"(scanning complete)to add his thoughts on how this concept as a forum Post may evolve and maybe give him some new ideas as to how he can share his work here (please!!!) and remind y'all that I do a have few oddys in the bunch(will post first) but most are for entertainment purposes as some of these threads get a little dry at times (not tonecops!)

ToneCop: They caught the punk that hit my car. I've been somehwhat compensated for some of the money and injuries. I have a hairline fracture on my shinbone but I still manage to run fine on it. I only had my car for 3 months and bang, hit and run. Lost value, so I going to trade it in for the car I really want... The Mercedes CLK 430.. figured I might as well since my payment is already $600/mth.

Soon as I'm well again, I'll give you guys a shout and hang out again for some beer and an investiation. Tell Tassaud and Jules I said hello.

PS-
Tom Brady, after living a full life, died. When he got to heaven, God was showing him around. They came to a modest little house with a faded Patriot's flag in the window. "This house is yours for eternity, Tom," said God. "This is very special; not everyone gets a house up here." Tom felt special, indeed, and walked up to his house.

On his way up the porch, he noticed another house just around the corner. It was a 3-story mansion with a Blue & White sidewalk, a 50-foot tall flagpole with an enormous Colts logo flag, and in every window, a Colts towel.
Tom looked at God and said "God, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but I have a question. I was an all-pro QB, I hold many NFL records, and I even won a few Super bowls.
God said "So what's your point Tom?"
"Well, why does Peyton get a better house than me?"
God chuckled, and said: "Tom, that's not Peyton's house, it's mine."

Hi NME,

That is great and now you can start the road to recovery. Your injuries will take time and let it heal slowly. You might want to go easy on the paintball games just for a short time. I too am rooting for the Colts although I wish the Chargers would have made it lol. Yes, let us know when you want to go out for a drink or hang out. Maybe if you have time, I will take you to Sportsman outlet and let you try out my new investment I just purchased. After that we can do a daytime run to the 1960 overpass area. Let me know what you think. Also go to Jesse site and say hi to everyone.

This is just from memory...you can get the answer either when one of the regulars on this thread checks in or by going backwards and reading the whole thread. I think the Church was in the movie theatre. It was turned into a movie theatre or vice-versa. So I think if you saw the theatre, you saw the Church.

Hi haunted james,

The church was located in the yard which now has a storage building. Nothing much now and not even a business is being runned. I think the owner just owns the storage and stores to anyone that needs storage space. I might go and quote him just to go inside the building.

LOL! Sorry guys I haven't really been on lately. Barek, I just wanted you to know that it's was just some friendly smack talk and nothing more. Actually, I was worried about the Bears and Urlacher meeting Manning and smearing Manning's face into the ground. My jaw dropped on opening kick off when the bears ran it back for a touch down.

I keep meaning to take my nephew there and seeing if it works.

ohmy.gif Sorry, didn't mean to peak your interest. I assumed everyone here knew about that thread.

I was just wondering what it meant. I checked the storage out and it is owned by a person named Big Stal. He was not in that day but left my number to inquire about his storage and look inside as I really do have some items I would like to store. Let you all know what he says later.

We have a few cougars here in Kansas. They were probably seeded by F&G who deny that any are here despite photographic evidence to the contrary. Personally, I will kill any I see, on-sight. They are a menace and the only ones I want to see around here will be caged in a zoo. Same thing for bears. People and some very aggressive and dangerous animals do not co-exist well together.

Being from California, your problem is much more pronounced than our own. You have Cougars dining on housecats and dogs in the outer LA suburbs and there have been a couple of people killed by these dangerous predators. I do not advocate their eradication but having a few in the New Mexico mountains and the rest in zoos is good for me.

I do not condone killing, and would not kill anything myself. It is only ok to kill in self defense or for food, not because you think something is annoying or a menance :3 or just fun to kill. In before people try to tear into me for caring <3

Also, I read like this entire thread and at first it sounded nice and spooky, but eventually it just sounded like nothing but contradictions. Not haunted :\

Raptors will swoop down and eat house pets too, no one whines about them.
A cougar won't take a dumb on the hood of your car.

That's because the hood of a car is not the proper place to take a dump. Unless you're a bird.

first off, i appologize for bumping such an old thread, but i have some fair stuff to add to this thread.

I am David Aranza, Im 20 years old, I was born in Houston, Texas, and i have lived in Humble, Texas for the past 9 years.

int he past year or two i got fairly interested in the ghost things [not much besides reading online] and i discovered alot of interesting things about Humble.

turns out this entire area was originally an Oil field, then the town was built on it. ive seen and heard of quite a few things

but anyways, id like to leave that for other stories [or another psot in here if i get postive responce], the reason i bumped this thread is because i have actually walked along these traintracks and around these woods, and i took a digital camera and took pictures of things, and a few of them had some interesting things...

First, this image, this was taken as we walked in torwards the woods. we had no flashlights, was just mea nd some friends screwing around, our cellphones and my cameras flash was the only light source we had. looka t the bottom, notice the glow of light/fog?

second image: obvious smoke/fog. keep in mind that no one was smoking at this time, there was absolutely no fog around us that night. it was a nice clear night [a bit chilly i admit, but not enough to even cause our breath to show when we breathe]

More fog...

Hey, David, do you think it would be possible to take a few pictures of the gate and road that leads to the cemetery? I don't have a digital camera and my scanner is busted.
