Feanor
I want to share with you all my latest work. This one will is important cause it has a sad history behind it.
I started this digital drawing last week and the day I start to scratch it on Photoshop, I one of my best friends came to my house to visit me. Dave was his name. He was like a brother to me. He passed away last Sunday on a tragic accident. Today I finished the drawing, which he saw as just a scratch and said: “Wow André, that’s nice, would you mind in giving this one to me?”
“I said, its yours, just let me finish it.” Well, as I promised, this one belongs to my friend and I named the art The Angel’s Path cause I believe he is right now talking with angels somewhere in the infinity of Heaven.

Oh gosh how sad, I am really sorry to hear that.
The image is lovely by the way and now very fitting.
My condolences to you.

That's a beautiful image, Feanor. And so is the sentiment. So sorry on your friends passing, but at least this image can hold some memory for you since he obviously liked it.

Its Photoshop work with layers, brushes and blending modes. Everything is drawn by hand, so it takes a lot of time to create. thumbsup.gif

Thank you all for the kind comments. I am really happy to know that you like and I am sure that Dave can see this no matter where he is. He’s on a better place!

Thanks again!

Kind regards,

grin2.gif I bet they are good. wink2.gif

If you gonna get a tablet, get wacom. Also, get Corel Painter IX, its a bit expensive, but worth the money when you work with art.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend passing away but you dedicating this piece of work to him is really a great thing to do. When something is made with your hands it always comes from your heart. In that you've given a piece of yourself to his memory.

Beautiful work, beautiful gesture.

That's a really touching story Feanor, and the image echoes it perfectly, it's sad but uplifting I feel.
