If its real maybe it has something to do with body language.

wow, that's crazy...most of the folks looked right at the paper too.
I wonder if he's using a type a short-lived hypnosis or something. The jeweler clipped a receipt right over the stack of paper and it wasn't until the other sales person pointed it out that he noticed it was paper. But he was looking right at it when he put the clip on it.
Wacky.

It's Hypnosis - it's partially body language but it's mostly the words he uses. Have another listen to the words he's saying as he hands the money over.

He is a very clever man. He is featured on British TV sometimes and one of the other tricks shown was when he went Greyhound Racing. He filled in a betting slip and after the race was over he went to the Cashier and popped the slip over the counter. Now bearing in mind that the dogs ticked on the slip had all lost, the Cashier put the slip in the machine, handed it back and said "sorry, but you have not won" - Derren Brown THEN said to her "look again" - she did this and promptly apologised and handed him his "winnings".
It was quite incredible to say the least.

I think it is amazing that a person could actually pass paper as money just by using body language and words and perhaps a slight form of hypnosis.

To be honest, I think the only way anyone would totally believe what is going on with him, is if he did that to the person themselves

I think it would be surreal to say the lease lol.

Its all true-no actors or stooges are used and he only uses suggestion, misdirection, psychology and showmanship.

Yea derren brown in pretty cool. Watched most of his stuff on youtube and I believe he is way more impressive than David Blaine, Chris Angel and the rest of those magicians out there. At least as far as I know, all of his "tricks" or persuasion is all real. Should check out this one..pretty funny
